Zur Beförderung von Kleinkindern werden in Kraftfahrzeugen Kindersitze verwendet. Bei den Kindersitzen wird unterschieden zwischen solchen, die über den Anschnallgurt des Kraftfahrzeuges selbst befestigt werden und wobei die Kleinkinder in den Kindersitzen über ein eigenes Gurtsystem angeschnallt werden, und solchen, bei denen die Kleinkinder über den Anschnallgurt des Kraftfahrzeuges auf einem als Sitzkissen'ausgebildeten Kindersitz angeschnallt werden.Child seats are used in motor vehicles to transport small children. Das Problem beim Befestigen der Kindersitze bzw. beim Anschnallen der Kinder auf den Kindersitzen über das Gurtsystem der Kraftfahrzeuge besteht darin, daß dies relativ umständlich ist, da die Gurtaufnahme am betreffenden Fahrzeugsitz nur wenige cm über diesen übersteht. Neben einem Kindersitz sind die Gurtaufnahmen zum Einstecken des Gurtsteckers häufig nur sehr schlecht zu erreichen. Dies liegt insbesondere dann vor, wenn sich auf einer Fahrzeugbank nicht nur einer oder zwei Kindersitze befinden, sondern sogar drei. Die Erfindung geht nun einen neuen Weg. Erfindungsgemäß ist daher ein Adapterstück zur Gurtverlängerung bei Kraftfahrzeugen für Kindersitze vorgesehen. Dieses Adapterstück weist einen Stecker zum Einstecken in die Gurtaufnahme am Kraftfahrzeug auf und ist darüber hinaus mit einer Aufnahme zum Einstecken des Gurtsteckers des Kraftfahrzeugs verbunden. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Adapterstück handelt es sich also um ein nachrüstbares Bauteil, das in jedem Kraftfahrzeug verwendet werden kann. Die beiden wesentlichen Bauteile des Adapterstückes bestehen in dem Stecker, der dem Gurtstecker des Kraftfahrzeuges vorzugsweise identisch entspricht, und einer Aufnahme, die der Gurtaufnahme am Kraftfahrzeug vorzugsweise identisch entspricht, so daß sichergestellt ist, daß der Stecker des Adapterstückes in die Gurtaufnahme am Kraftfahrzeug eingesteckt und in die Aufnahme des Adapterstückes der Gurtstecker des Kraftfahrzeuges eintgesteckt werden kann.The invention now takes a new approach. Dies bedeutet also, daß für den in Figur 2 dargestellten Kindersitz 2 das eigene Gurtsystem des Kraftfahrzeuges verwendet wird.
