Die Erfindung betrifft Bekleidung, insbesondere Reinraumbekleidung, aus einem geeigneten Stoff, wie z. Außerdem sind die Maschen des Strickbundes im Bereich dieser Verbindung mit dem Kleidungsstoff zwangsläufig aufgedehnt, um einen faltenlosen Ansatz des Strickbundes an das Kleidungsgewebe zu ermöglichen. Dieser Bereich wird im weiteren als Dehnungsbereich des Strickbundes bezeichnet. Mit dem verlängerten Strömungsweg verringert sich nämlich die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit der einzelnen Partikel und erhöht sich folglich die Wahrscheinlichkeit, daß sich die Partikel entweder auf dem Kleidungsstoff oder auf dem Gestricke des Strickbundes absetzen. Alle diese Faktoren, nämlich die Filterwirkung, die Verringerung der Strömungsgeschwindigkeit sowie die Verlängerung des Strömungsweges bewirken zusammen eine deutlich meßbare Reduzierung der pro Zeiteinheit ausströmenden Teilchen, also des Restpartikelstroms.
