Mit zunehmender Korrosion leidet auch die Dichtung zwischen Gehäuse und Frontplatte bzw. der Einführung des Kabelanschlusses in das Gehäuse für das Leuchtmittel. Der Scheinwerfer nach der Erfindung bietet somit nicht nur eine praktisch unbegrenzte Lebensdauer, sondern auch die Austauschbarkeit gegenüber vorhandenen Scheinwerfern.
