Bezeichnung: Reinigungsvorrichtung für WasserleitungenDescription: Cleaning device for water pipes
Device for cleaning water pipes, in particular for removing deposits in water-carrying pipes or containers of open or closed pipe systems by means of filter and/or other separation devices.
It is known that in boilers, water pipes, machines and devices through which calcareous or aggressive water flows, heavy deposits of lime and rust often form, which can grow so much that the passage cross-section shrinks to a fraction over time or that walls are broken through by so-called pitting corrosion.
While it has already become common practice to install water filters in the water supply lines to protect water pipes, water tanks or machines that use water,
Even if it is necessary to use treatment devices that can prevent such disadvantages, there is still a need for a device that can be used to clean old water pipes, vessels, machines, etc. that are already calcified or have rust deposits, and in particular to remove such deposits.
The invention is based on the object of creating a device with which water pipes in use, e.g. from heating systems or the like, can be effectively cleaned in a simple and efficient manner without operational disruptions, in particular by removing deposits such as rust, lime, etc.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a motor-driven circulation pump, an iron particle separator provided with a magnet, as well as an electromagnetic water conditioner and/or a dirt particle filter are arranged in a portable frame and are connected in series in terms of flow, with the water inlet being on the suction side of the circulation pump.
Such a device can easily be integrated into a system in such a way that the water circulating in the system is passed through the device and, on the one hand, the water treatment system is enabled to remove deposits in the pipe or container system and transport them to the separating devices or filters in the device, where they are collected.
Depending on the water quality and the condition of the water pipe systems, this device can remain in use for several weeks or months until the goal of removing the deposits is achieved.
While known filter devices can be used to remove non-magnetic suspended particles, the invention according to claim 2 provides a particularly advantageously designed iron particle separator which is able to bind magnetizable iron particles before they reach the other separating devices connected downstream.
Due to the special design of the iron particle separator according to claims 3 to 6, it can be easily handled, in particular for the purpose of cleaning.
Es zeigt:The invention is explained in more detail below using the drawing. It shows:

Bei der Anwendungsform gemäß Fig. 2 ist der Anschlußschlauch 7 mit seiner nicht dargestellten Schraubkupplung 8 an den Ausgang des Schmut&zgr;teilchenfliters 5 angeschlossen.10 is connected by a flange 11 to the water inlet nozzle 12 of the iron particle separator 3, the outlet 24 of which is connected to the inlet of the water conditioner 4. On the outlet side, this water conditioner 4 is connected either to another connection hose 7 or to the dirt particle filter 5. In the application form according to Fig. 2, the connection hose 7 is connected to the outlet of the dirt particle filter 5 with its screw coupling 8 (not shown).
The frame 1 consists of a rectangular base frame 31 with a support plate 32 attached to it and of two longitudinal, railing-like vertical frames 33 and 34, each of which is bent from round tubes and each has two vertical frame legs 35 and 36 or 37 and 38, which are connected to one another in one piece by horizontal longitudinal beams 39 or 40.

sind durch Quertraversen 41 bzw. 44 miteinander verbunden. are connected to each other by cross members 41 and 44 respectively.
This support frame 1 also contains a box 43 in which the electrical control elements are housed.
The support frame can also be equipped with wheels or rollers so that it can be moved to the respective location.
The iron particle separator 3 consists of an elongated, cylindrical and vertically positioned container 13, which is provided with a removable screwed-on lid 14 on the top. The water inlet nozzle 12 is located in the center of this also cylindrical lid 14.
A permanent magnet rod 16 is arranged in the container 13 coaxially to the central axis 15 and is able to bind magnetizable iron particles that are contained as suspended particles in the water. In order to obtain an optimal magnetic attraction and binding effect, it is advisable to make the housing 13 and the lid 14 from non-magnetic material, for example from light metal.
At least there should be no magnetically conductive connection between the housing 13 or cover 14 and the permanent magnet rod 16.
The permanent magnet rod 16 is provided at its upper end with a support ring 17, which sits loosely on the top of a carrier 18. This carrier 18 consists of a round, anti-magnetic disk, which has several passage openings 21 around a central guide hole 20 and which sits in the container 13 on an annular shoulder 22 arranged in the upper section of the latter. The permanent magnet rod 16 is guided centrally in the guide hole 20, which is matched to the diameter of the latter. Due to its weight, the support ring 17, which is firmly connected to it, rests on the edge of the guide hole 20 in the manner shown in Fig. 3. As can be seen from this illustration, the permanent magnet rod 13 extends almost over the entire height of the container 13, but without hitting the lid 14 and the lower end wall 23 of the container 13.
While the water inlet in the form of the water inlet nozzle 12 is located on the upper front side of the container 13, the water outlet 24 in the form of a radially outgoing outlet nozzle is offset from the water inlet 12.

ordnet, so daß günstige Strömungsverhältnisse geschaffen werden, durch welche eine möglichst hohe Wirksamkeit des Permanentmagnestabes 16 erreichbar ist und dieser möglichst viele magnetisierbare Schwebeteilchen dem durchfließenden Wasser entzieht.arranged so that favorable flow conditions are created, through which the highest possible effectiveness of the permanent magnet rod 16 can be achieved and this removes as many magnetizable suspended particles as possible from the water flowing through.
In order to be able to occasionally empty the container 13 for cleaning purposes, the lower front wall 23 is provided with a drain valve 25.
When the cover 14 is removed, the permanent magnet rod 16 can be easily removed from the container 13 and also pulled out of the carrier 18, so that the iron particles accumulated on the longer lower section can be easily stripped off through the edge of the guide bore 16.
In such cleaning projects in which this device according to the invention is used, it is important that the water conditioner 4 is also included in the circuit. For this purpose, it is connected directly to the outlet connection 24 of the container 13. The physical water treatment that takes place in it prevents the calcium carbonate in the water from forming a so-called crystal lattice. The CaCo3 (calcium carbonate) is separated by a magnet or

Pulse field and, in the process, rectified or separated into calcium (Ca) and non-aggressive, rectified carbonic acid. The separated calcium does not form a solid encrustation on its own and remains suspended in the treated water or is washed out of the system when the water is removed or is separated out in the downstream dirt particle filter 5.
Behälterwandungen ab.The carbonic acid released during this process tries to combine with a Ca molecule as quickly as possible and thereby removes the existing encrustations from the pipe walls or container walls.
In the schematic block diagram shown in Fig. 5, the device according to the invention with the circulation pump 2, the iron particle separator 3 and the water conditioner 4 is connected in shunt connection in the circuit of a hot water heating system, which can be interrupted by a shut-off valve 45 and which is fed by a hot water boiler 26 and comprises, for example, three radiators 27, 28 and 29. It is expedient to insert the device according to the invention in the return line 30 of the circuit so that only purified water is supplied to the water boiler 26.
