Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schachtverschluß zur Sicherung der Armaturen in Schächten von Tankanlagen, insbesondere von Brennstofftankanlagen, gegen unbeabsichtigten und unbefugten Zugriff, wobei eine der Querschnittsform des Schachtes angepaßte Schließplatte mit einem unter ihr angeordneten Spreizstern zusammengeschlossen gehalten ist, wobei mindestens zwei der Arme des Spreizsternes in ihrer Länge verstellbar sind und wobei sich die Enden aller Arme des Spreizsternes in Vertiefungen der Schächtwand abstützen.
