Die Trockeneinrichtung besteht aus der auf einem fahrbaren Wagengestell b untergebrachten, mit doppelten Seitenwänden versehenen kastenartigen Trockenkammer c. In der Trockenkammer sind schlangenartige Dampfheizungsröhren d oder -kästen übereinander paarweise gegenüberliegend angeordnet, welche von einer Lokomobile mit Dampf gespeist werden. Um das zu trocknende Getreide durch die Trockenkammer hindurchzuführen, sind endlose Förderbänder oder Ketten e zwischen den Heizschlangen d vorgesehen, die durch Zahnräder f angetrieben werden. Die gleichzeitig noch über Rollen g laufenden Ketten sind mit Mitnehmerstiften h versehen, die einander gegenüberstehen. Die in der Trockenkammer auf gemeinsamer Welle sitzenden Anr triebsräder f für die Förderketten werden durch eine Riemenscheibe i von der Lokomobile angetrieben. Die zu trocknenden Garben werden durch die Einlauföffnung k auf die Ketten befördert, die das Getreide langsam über die Heizschlangen hinwegführen, durch welche es getrocknet wird. An der Auslauföffnung I wird das getrocknete Getreide herausgenommen und der Dreschtrommel zugeführt.
