Description
The invention relates to a method for loading or hydrophilizing of textile goods made of cellulose fibers or contains these fibers.
Visiting cellulose fibers is an important measure in the finishing of textiles. This in an alkaline environment treatment is used to remove foreign substances from the Separate natural fibers to make them hydrophilic.
The effectiveness of this alkaline has been tried Increase treatment so that saponification takes place at the same time the natural waxes and fats of the fiber the whiteness and the separation of fiber nubs can be improved as well as improved extraction and separation of minerals can be achieved, which are also in non-negligible Find amounts among the impurities in the fiber.
The use of alkali metal polyphosphates or salts of aminopolycarboxylic acids in alkaline steam baths has already been proposed, in particular to improve the extraction of minerals from the fiber mass. It is also already known to use reducing compounds, such as sodium dithionite or salts of α- hydroxyalkanesulfinic acids, in order to increase the whiteness. However, it has been found that if the presence of these compounds in the alkaline bath effectively prevents any oxidation of the fiber, their influence on the degree of whiteness always remains insignificant.
It has now been found that when using hydrazine phosphonates, with the implementation of phosphonic acid derivatives Hydrazine or hydrazine hydrate are produced in alkaline baths an extraordinary increase in the effectiveness of this Treatment is achieved.
The object of the invention is therefore a method for crying and hydrophilizing cellulose fibers in an alkaline environment, which is characterized in that the treatment in the presence a hydrazine phosphonate or a double phosphonate by hydrazine and another cation.
The double phosphonate is preferably a phosphonate of hydrazine and sodium, potassium, lithium, ammonium or an amine, by partial salt formation of a phosphonic acid derivative with hydrazine or hydrazine hydrate and subsequent total neutralization the acidic compound with a base of the second Elements, e.g. B. sodium hydroxide can be produced.
The addition of these compounds, in addition to protecting the Fibers against any oxidation an elimination of nubs and a whiteness of the treated article, which results are superior to those using conventional reducing Connections, e.g. B. the aforementioned compounds, are achievable.
It was also found that in the presence of hydrazine phosphonates results achieved are superior to those who if equivalent quantities of the individual components are used separately be obtained, e.g. B. when using only Hydrazine in a bath and subsequent use of Sodium phosphonate in another bath. So it is apparently an unexpected synergistic effect between the respective connections.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the Phosphonate derivatives of amino (lower alkane) polyphosphonic acids and / or derivatives of hydroxyalkanephosphonic acids.
Special amino (lower alkane) phosphonic acids are compounds which are derived from C 1-6 hydrocarbons, such as aminomethane diphosphonic acid, aminobismethylene phosphonic acid, diethylenetriaminopentakismethylenephosphonic acid, ethylenediaminetetrakismethylenephosphonic acid, 1-aminomethylcyclopentylamine-2-tetrakismethylenephosphonic acid and 1,2-cyclosethylene phosphonic acid and 1,2-cyclosethylene phosphonic acid.
Special hydroxyalkanephosphonic acids are compounds which are derived from C 1-4 hydrocarbons, such as hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid and 1-hydroxypropane-1,1,3-triphosphonic acid.
It has been shown that the above-mentioned synergistic Effect is particularly pronounced when the hydrazine content 1 to 50 percent by weight, preferably 2 to 20 percent by weight, based on the phosphonic acid derivative (expressed as free acid).
Ein übliches Beuch- bzw. Hydrophilisierungsbad enthält z. B.:
0,1 bis 2 Gewichtsprozent eines alkalischen Mittels, üblicherweise
eines alkalischen Hydroxids, vorzugsweise Natriumhydroxid;
0,1 bis 5 Gewichtsprozent eines Netzmittels, das der alkalischen
Behandlung standhält und üblicherweise beim alkalischen
Beuchen verwendet wird, z. B. Kondensationsprodukte von Fettsäuren,
Ölen und sulfatisierten Fetten, Alkyl- oder Alkylarylsulfonate,

Fettalkoholen oder Alkylarylpolyglykoläther; sowie vorzugsweise
0,1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent eines Hydrazinphosphonats oder Doppelphosphonats
von Hydrazin und einem anderen Kation.A usual Beuch- or hydrophilization bath contains z. E.g .: 0.1 to 2% by weight of an alkaline agent, usually an alkaline hydroxide, preferably sodium hydroxide;
0.1 to 5% by weight of a wetting agent that withstands the alkaline treatment and is usually used in alkaline cleaning, e.g. B. condensation products of fatty acids, oils and sulfated fats, alkyl or alkylarylsulfonates, sulfated polyglycol ethers, polyglycol ethers of fatty alcohols or alkylaryl polyglycol ethers; as well as preferably
0.1 to 10% by weight of a hydrazine phosphonate or double phosphonate of hydrazine and another cation.
The treatment according to the invention is carried out under the same conditions performed as they are usually when visiting or Hydrophilizing fibers are applied. The procedure can be continuous or discontinuous in different Long baths are carried out.

von 62 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das
saure Phosphonsäurederivat, welches erhalten wurde
durch Umsetzen von 4 Molekülen Hydrazin mit 1 Molekül
Hydroxyäthan-1,1-diphosphonsäure.A) 8 g of sodium hydroxide,
2 g wetting agent,
3.7 g of the double phosphonate of hydrazine and sodium from Example 3, so that 0.38 g / liter of hydrahin and 2.5 g / liter of the phosphonic acid derivative (expressed as free acid) are added to the bath; B) 8 g of sodium hydroxide,
2 g wetting agent,
1 g of a hydrazine phosphonate with a hydrazine content of 62 percent by weight, based on the acidic phosphonic acid derivative, which was obtained by reacting 4 molecules of hydrazine with 1 molecule of hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid.
Demgegenüber ist der Gehalt an Phosphonsäurederivat relativ geringer, nämlich 0,6 g/Liter gegenüber 2,5 g/Liter im Bad A).This derivative thus enables the introduction of an amount of hydrazine, which is equivalent to that of bath A), namely 0.38 g / liter. In contrast, the content of phosphonic acid derivative relatively lower, namely 0.6 g / liter compared 2.5 g / liter in bath A).
Es werden folgende Reemissionswerte gemessen:The results obtained show that bath A) is an essential better whiteness is achieved. This shows the influence the relationship between the hydrazine content and the Phosphonic acid derivative content. The following reemission values are measured:
Bad A):85% Bad B):82,2%.Bad A): 85% Bad B): 82.2%.
