Abstract

The hazard warning light switch consists of a peg holding a ball (2) in a tapered boring. Pressure is applied to the peg by a spring contact. The ball sensitivity is dependant upon the boring angle and the spring pressure which is adjustable. The ball responds to shock impulses by moving away from the retaining peg allowing the contacts to close and excite a warning lamp blinker relay switch. The retaining peg can be moved by a manual switch. In an alternative design, the ball is able to roll back into its original rest position after responding to a shock impulse. The ball normally rests in a tapered boring and closes a contact switch by its own weight. The contact switch excites a blinker lamp relay. A two-way manual switch is able to actuate the blinker relay and a control lamp directly and at the same time interrupt the relay automatic feed.

Description

Warnblinkschalter mit Eigenschaltautomatik Hazard warning switch with automatic switching

The invention relates to a switch that a) after an initial collapse switches on automatically b) is switched on purely manually.

With known switches, the automatic switch-on speaks for impulses which act on the trigger element in one direction.

The object of the invention is that a trigger element for the automatic switch-on responds to impulses acting from different directions.

Fig. 1 shows a partially schematic ia section switch shown which contains a ball as a trigger element for the automatic switch-on, on which a Pen works.

Fig. 2 shows a partially schematically illustrated switch in section, which contains a ball as a trigger element for the automatic switch-on their own weight acts on a contact switch.

In the arrangement of the trigger element shown in FIG. 1, a pin holds the ball in its rest position. A spring contact acts on the pin. The switch is Mounted so that the ball responds to positive and negative impulses in the plane of the vehicle The response sensitivity depends on WinkeloC and the contact pressure that is applied to the pin acts. X with the help of a pressure screw that acts on the spring contact the responsiveness will vary.

In the event of a response, the ball has moved away from the pen and it goes due to the contact pressure downwards, which means that the ball can no longer return to its original position back and the contacts remain closed. The hazard warning system is via a flashing relay in operation.

A double function is achieved by pulling out the switch button.

a) Das Binkrelais wird direkt angesprochen, inden der Hebel einen Kontakt schließt, was man optisch durch die Kontrolllampe erkennt.a) The blink relay is addressed directly when the lever has a contact closes what can be seen optically by the control lamp.

The ball can take its starting position and by pushing it in the switch button is ready for operation again, the control lamp goes out.

In the arrangement of the trigger element shown in FIG. 2, the ball rests in a hole and acts on a contact switch by its own weight The force required to eject the ball can be selected by selecting the Diameter # of the hole can be varied.

Warnblinkanlage in Betrieb. In response, the ball is ejected from the hole and rolls back to its original position. The contact switch that has meanwhile tripped has a switching relay addressed, but now remains in operation as a self-sufficiency, even if the ball has switched off the contact switch again. Via a flasher relay is di. Hazard warning lights in operation.

Durch Eindrücken des Schalterknopfes ist die Betriebsbereitschaft wieder hergestellt, die Kontrollampe erlischt0 L e e r s e i t eA contact is closed by pulling out the switch button, which switches on a flasher relay directly, which nsn recognizes optically through the control panel A second contact interrupts the self-supply of the switching relay by pressing it in the switch button, operational readiness is restored, the control lamp goes out 0 L e r s e i t e
