Durch diese Anordnung wird der Dichtungsstreifen b zwischen zwei festen Teilen eingeschlossen, und dem Dichtungswulst c wird eine feste Lagerung gegeben, so daß ein Verschieben desselben beim Gebrauch des Gehäuses vermieden wird. Bei der gezeichneten Ausführungsform wird der Dichtungswulst dadurch gebildet, daß eine Kordel g von einem flachen Band eingeschlossen wird und die aufeinandergelegten Ränder des Bandes zur Befestigung am Gehäuserand dienen. Je nach Art der Kordel kann der Dichtungswulst mehr oder weniger elastisch ausgebildet werden; letzterer kann auch massiv oder als pneumatischer Luftschlauch ausgebildet sein.
