Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Neuerung an Stopfbüchsen, durch die es ermöglicht ist, die Stopfbüchse zum Nachpacken der Stopfbüchsenpackung schnell und leicht zu lösen. Bei den bekannten Stopfbüchsen sind die Druckschrauben gewöhnlich im Stopfbüchsengehäuse verschraubbar, so daß es zum Lösen der Stopfbüchse erforderlich ist, die Druckschrauben vollständig aus dem Gehäuse herauszuschrauben. Dies erfordert unnötig viel Zeit und Arbeitsaufwand. Durch die Erfindung wird nun dieser Nachteil dadurch beseitigt, daß die Druckschrauben in dem oder den Stopfbüchsenflanschen verschraubbar sind, und Anschläge vorgesehen sind, gegen die sich die Druckschrauben bei der Anzugsbewegung anlegen, so daß die Stopfbüchse durch weitere Drehung angezogen wird. Mit dem Stopfbüchsengehäuse stehen die Druckschrauben hierbei in gar keiner Verbindung, oder sie sind nur in der Weise mit dem Gehäuse verbunden, daß sie um die Stopfbüchsenachse gedreht werden können. Zum Lösen der Stopfbüchse genügt es bei dieser Anordnung, die Druckschrauben um einen ganz geringen Betrag, z. B. um einen Gewindegang, zurückzuschrauben, so daß sie nicht mehr gegen die Anschläge festgeklemmt sind, worauf die Büchse nach einer geringen Drehung, derart, daß die Druckschrauben von den Anschlägen ganz frei kommen, ohne weiteres von der Stopfbüchsenpackung abgehoben werden kann.The present invention is an innovation in stuffing boxes through which it allows the stuffing box to repack the stuffing box pack quickly and easy to solve.
