Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Halsschachteln mit aufklappbarem oder abhebbarem Deckel aus Faltkarton. Sie löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß sie um einen Halseinsatz einen Faltkarton legt, wobei der von letzterem und dem Einsatz umgrenzte Raum zur Aufnahme des zu verpackenden Gutes dient. Nach Vereinigung der einzelnen Teile trennt man die ίο Faltschachtel in Richtung der durch das Verfahren gegebenen Trennstellen.
