Claims

1. Packaging for smoking articles comprising a holder part provided with a middle part and a circumferential upright peripheral edge, which circumferential edge forms an opening for receiving the smoking articles in the holder part, a closing part provided with a middle part and a circumferential upright circumferential edge, as well as a strip-shaped neck element , which neck element is arranged partly along the peripheral edge of the holder part, and wherein in the closed condition of the package the closing part with its peripheral edge lies against the peripheral edge of the holder part, characterized in that the holder part, the closing part and the neck element form part from one blank from which the package can be assembled.

2. Packaging as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the holder part and the neck element form a substantially rectangular blank part, while the neck element is designed as a blank protruding from the rectangular blank part.

3. Packaging as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the blank lip forming the neck element protrudes in the length dimension of the rectangular blank part.

4. Packaging as claimed in claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the rectangular blank part is provided with two first fold lines extending in the length dimension and at the same distance from both longitudinal sides.

5. Packaging as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the rectangular blank part is provided with two second fold lines extending in the width dimension and at the same distance from both width sides.

6. Packaging as claimed in claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the rectangular blank part is provided with two third fold lines extending in the width dimension and at the same distance from both width sides.

A package according to claim 6, characterized in that the third fold lines are located between the second fold lines.
