Description

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Doppelpackung für Zigaretten o. dgl., die aus zwei Packungshälften besteht,, die durch eine die Zigarettenreihen beider Hälften abdeckende Brücke gelenkig und trennbar miteinander verbunden sind. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß je eine durch Seiteneinschnitte, Perforationen o. dgl. vorbereitete Trennungslinie an denjenigen Wandungsteilen beider Packungshalf ten, die mit der Brücke über Knicklinien unmittelbar zusammenhängen, vorgesehen ist, und zwar in einer solchen Entfernung von der Biegungskante dieser Brücke, daß nach Abtrennen einer Packungshälfte das an der Brücke verbleibende Wandungsteil dieser Hälfte als Verschlußklappe für die andere Packungshälfte benutzt werden kanii. Ein Vorteil des Erfindungsgegenstandes besteht darin, daß er infolge seiner Einfachheit eine billige Herstellung der Schachteln gestattet und auch eine Füllung der Packung auf maschinellem Wege mittels verhältnismäßigeinfacher Füllmaschinen zuläßt. Die Trennungslinie 17 hat eine solche Entfernung von den Biegungskanten b, c der Brücke 23, daß nach Abtrennen der Packungshälfte das an der Brücke verbleibende Wandungsteil als Verschlußklappe für die ändere Packungshälfte benutzt werden kann, wie aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist. Hierbei wird die Brücke 23 längs einer mittleren Schnittlinie α umgeklappt.
