Um den Zigaretten ein sauberes und gleichmäßiges Aussehen zu geben, auf das der Käufer in der Regel großen Wert legt, mußten die Zigaretten so in der Schachtel liegen, daß die ganze oberste Lage aus gleichmäßig mit dem üblichen Aufdruck nach oben gelegten Zigaretten bestand. Es gibt bisher kein zuverlässiges Mittel, Zigaretten maschinell so in Schachteln zu verpacken, daß der Aufdruck stets genau nach der Oberfläche zu liegt.
