Claims (6)

Patentansprüche:
1. Gläser mit niedrigen optischen Verlusten < 150 dB/km, insbesondere zur Herstellung von Lichtleitfasern mit hoher Transparenz, hoher numerischer Apertur und hoher Biegefestigkeit, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus
SiO2 65-75 MoI.- R2O 4-17 MoI.- PbO 16-25 MoI.-
bestehen, wobei das MolvVerhältnis SiO- : "PbO
2/5 - 4/0 beträgt und R2O für Alkalimetalloxid steht.
2. Gläser nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus
SiO2 - 65-75 Mol. K2O 4-17 Mol. Cs2O 0-4 MOl. PbO 16-25 Mol. bestehen.

3. Gläser nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch geken.n^eiciinet,
daß sie aus SiO2 38-46 Gew .«■-%" K2O 4-13 Gew.-% Cs2O : 0-8 Gew.-% PbO 42-55 Gew.-%
bestehen.
4. Glas nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus '
SiO2 70, 5 Mol.-% 43 ,84 Gew.-% K2O 9> 0 MOl.-% 8 ,80 Gew.-% PbO 20, 5 -Mo 1.-% 47 ,36 Gew.-% Si02/Pb0 - 3, 4 5 Mo1. — %
besteht.
5. Glas nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus
SiO2 69,40 MoI.- K2O 7,87 MoI.- PbO 22,72 MoI.- Si02/Pb0 = 3,06 MoI.-
besteht.
