Description
. ' ·Among the processes for making linoleum varnish and the like, none has the scrim or Walton processes in terms of the quality of the linoxyn produced. All the fast-moving processes only yielded an inferior product because that Material produced quickly always results in brittle goods. . '·
Das vorliegende Verfahren gestattet nun inThe present procedure now allows in
Auch lassen sich die eben gemachten Ausführungen auf die Wachstuchfabrikation und verwandte Industriezweige anwenden.ίο a linoleum varnish for a short time (2 to 3 days) to produce, which is significantly better and more even than the one after the scrim- or Walton process. The procedure is that this is done by some fast acting method oxidized solid linseed oil is dissolved in raw linseed oil! It will This mimicked the process of the Scrim or Walton process, because this is where it dissolves oxidized linseed oil in the raw oil flowing over it. It is more correct if one of speaks of a colloidal solution, because in reality there is swelling and none real solution. Due to this colloidal state of the scrim or Walton process The special properties of this material are also explained by the Linoxyns produced. The new product has all these excellent properties to a greater extent, and is also much more uniform than the Scrim or Walton material. Of course you can too other oils can be used. The explanations just made can also be found apply oilcloth manufacture and related industries.
