Erfindungsgemäß besteht die Lüftereinheit aus einem Elektromotor. Speziell bei einem Außenläufermotor lassen sich günstige Anbaumaße erzielen. Auf einem rotorseitig ausgeführtem Wellenende des Außenläufermotors ist ein rückwärts gekrümmtes Radialrad (1), jederzeit ohne Hilfsmittel abnehmbar, angebracht. Die innere Wand (2), die z.B. eine Wand eines Backofens sein könnte, ist mit einer runden Öffnung versehen, an der die Luft von dem Lüfterrad angesaugt wird. In dem Raum des Lüfterrades wird somit ein Überdruck erzeugt, der durch Luftschlitze (5) an der Frontseite ausbläßt. Beim Backofen z.B. sind im Überdruckraum Heizspiralen angebracht, so daß hiermit warme Luft im Backofen zirkuliert. Außerhalb der Trennwand (6) liegt der Motor, insbesondere der Außenläufermotor. Auf dem Rotor des Außenläufermotors (7) ist ein Radialrad aufgepreßt. Das Radialrad (8) läuft in einem Spiralgehäuse (9), dessen Stirnwand nicht vorhanden ist, da dieses mittels Lappen (10) auf die Trennwand (6) aufgeschraubt ist. Auf der Ansaugseite der Spirale ist eine, dem Lüfterrad zugeordnete, Einlaufdüse (11) eingezogen.
