Nachteilig ist hierbei, daß die Endlosbahnen im freien Fall auf die Ablage fallen, so daß sich hierdurch eine relativ unkontrollierte Bewegung ergibt, welche zu Fehlerquellen führen kann. Weiterhin kann sich als Nachteil ergeben, daß bei Spezialpapier, welches eine statische Aufladung aufweisen kann, der freie Fall durch diese statische Aufladung beeinträchtigt wird. Als weiterer Nachteil ergibt sich, daß durch die Perforierung, welche die Endlosbahn aufweist, der abgelegte Stapel nach einer gewissen Stapelhöhe eine Wölbung nach innen erfährt und damit eine Art Hohlkehle bildet.
