Die Erfindung betrifft einen Block mit quer zur Achse geteilter Seilscheibe, im besonderen die von außen zu bedienende Verriegelvorrichtung der beiden Teile dieser Seilscheibe, die so ausgeführt ist, daß sie leicht geöffnet werden kann, selbst wenn eine schwere Last auf dem Block ruht. Nach der Erfindung trägt die eine Scheibenhälfte einen Zapfen mit konischem Kopf, die andere Scheibenhälfte dagegen einen Zapfen mit einer entsprechenden konischen Vertiefung.
