Es seien dabei nur die Patentschriften 1 148 893 unal 282 495 erwähnt. Diese Stützelemente sind aber alle mit mehr oder weniger großen Nachteilen behaftet und in ihrer Wirkung recht unbefriedigend. Einmal sind diese StUtzelemente sehr schwer an die unterschiedlichen Größen der Insassen anzupassen, zum anderen müssen sie teilweise von Hand angelegt werden, was wiederum die große Gefahr einer Nichtbenutzung in sich birgt. Aber gerade die ungenaue Paßform widerspricht der Forderung der Sicherheitsforschung, daß der Insasse möglichst sofort beiCraßh-Beginn fest mit dem Fahrzeugsitz, der hierbei besonders kräftig ausgelegt ist, verbunden ist, um keinerlei Eigenbewegungen auszuführen. Die Anlegevorrichtung besteht aus einer druckmittelbetätigten Kolben-Zylindereinheit. Als Druckmittel ist zweckmäßigerweise eine pyrotechnische, über einen Sensor gezündete Treibladung vorgesehen.
