Das Originalfarbnegativ der Vordergrundaufnahme wird einmal über ein Blaufilter, unabhängig davon über ein Rotfilter und schließlich noch über ein Grünfilter kopiert, so daß man drei zugehörige Farbauszüge erhält, die in mehreren Stufen, mit der Hintergrundaufnahme kombiniert, schließlich die gewünschte Bildkombination ergeben (DE-GM 15 97 324). Wie sich gezeigt hat, ist dieses Verfahren jedoch allein schon dadurch, daß es eine Vielzahl von Zwischenkopien mit dem erforderlichen Arbeits- und Materialaufwand zwingend notwendig macht, aufwendig und zeitraubend. Außerdem ist bei allen bisher bekannten Verfahren die Wiedergabe von Blautönen im Vordergrund unmöglich. Auch lassen sich durch die Vielzahl der Verfahrensschrilte Überlappungen zwischen Vorder- und Hintergrundaufnahmen nicht eindeutig ausschließen.is rend the background is exposed to a blue light (GB-PS 7 87 759).
