Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung an Zigarrenwickelmaschinen mit Wickeltuch und Wickeltisch, zum Halten des zu schneidenden Tabaks und zum Ausstoßen des abgeschnittenen Tabaks mittels eines an einer unter Federwirkung stehenden drehbaren Backe herabgleitenden Stampfers. Diese Glieder umgreift ein im Maschinenbett/ senkrecht verschiebbarer Rahmen r mit einer Platte e. Auf der Platte e. sind zwei Keile g (Fig. 3) angeordnet, welche ein Schild k tragen. Zwischen diesem und der Platte e gleitet der festen Backe t gegenüber die bewegliche Backe h, in deren Nuten i die Keile g eingreifen. Eine an Stiften I und m des Schildes k bzw. der beweglichen Backe h angreifende Feder ζ ist bestrebt, die Backe h ständig abwärts zu ziehen. Mittels eines Steges p ist ein Messer 0 mit dem Rahmen r starr verbunden. Ein um ein Auge q pendelnder Stampfer s ist zwischen dem Rücken des Messers 0, der feststehenden Backe t und der bei u drehbar gelagerten Gegendruckplatte η verschiebbar, welche in bekannter Weise durch eine Feder υ gegen die Backe t angedrückt wird.Fig. 2 shown in a plan view.

Bevor das Messer 0 wieder aufwärts geht, wird der Stampfer s herabgesenkt, der den abgeschnittenen Tabak vor sich herschiebt und dabei den Rücken des Messers, die Stirnseite der Gegendruckplatte η und der Backe t überstreicht, wodurch ein Haftenbleiben des Tabaks an diesen Teilen verhindert wird.
