Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Raff- und Verdrängereinrichtung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, welche bei Gewährleistung eines ausreichend großen Durchtrittsquerschnitts für die gefüllte Wursthülle eine Raffung unter optimaler Verdrängung des Wurstbrätes aus dem gerafften Hülsenteil gestattet, die eine genau definierte Lage der gerafften Wursthülle zu dem Gesenk der Schließvorrichtung erbringt und hierdurch ein Reißen der Wursthülle beim Verschließvorgang mit Sicherheit vermeidet. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß die Raffbacken im Zwanglauf uM parallele Achsen gegeneinander verschwenkbar angeordnet werden und an den der Schwenklagerung entgegengesetzten Enden ihrer in Raffstellung parallel verlaufenden geraden Stirnkanten gegeneinander vorstehende Ansätze aufweisen, deren an die geraden Stirnkanten im rechten Winkel anschließende Kantenabschnitte beim Raffen scherenartig aneinander vorbeigleiten und dabei die Wursthülle in den Bereich der geraden Stirnkanten bringen.
