Maschine zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung von mehrlagigemMachine for the continuous production of multilayer
Verbund-PolstermaterialComposite upholstery material
The invention "relates to a machine for continuous production of multi-layer composite upholstery material and in particular for the production of multi-layer composite material in the " Quilted area.
It is already known in the manufacture of upholstered mattresses to use multilayer composite material webs that have an upper and lower layer which surrounds the mattress springs and is subject to the outer covering of the mattress springs, to make such an item as comfortable as possible. Such composite material layers preferably have a material layer made of spongy or foamed material that is permanent on one or both sides with a fleece or a mushroom made of textile fibers is connected, the connection either by gluing or by sewing with Special needles, especially quilting, happens, the latter being the case the safer method of joining a non-woven fabric to the foam material, such as polyurethane, is
109887/0246109887/0246
In the "known embodiments of such a sewing or quilting, however, it is not guaranteed that the two layers of material are so firmly connected to one another at their edges are that a satisfactory resistance to the use as well as the processing of such a composite material rial it ensures forces occurring to upholstered mattresses is.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a machine of the type mentioned at the outset which eliminates this disadvantage. The solution according to the invention consists essentially in the fact that the machine has needle heads, which are arranged and filled with reproaches that on the side edges of the composite material web as well as on predetermined Cross stripes across the material web have a higher needle stitch density than in the other areas. This results in the desired reinforcement and special resistance of these particularly heavily used areas of the composite material web.

Es zeigen:Mn preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As can be seen from Fig. 1, the machine has a storage roll 1 for a material web made of porous, in particular foamed material 3, which is rotatably mounted in the bearings 2 is. The material web 3 is by means of a Hollen 4 or a corresponding Feed device to the feed system for the textile fiber fleece, preferably consisting of cotton, promoted. The introduction of the textile fibers takes place via the device 5> the inlet of which is provided with means for removing foreign matter in the textile fibers. In the device 5, the textile fiber fleece 6 is put together, which is then passed via an endless conveyor 7 to press rollers 8, from ^ which the firmly coherent fiber fleece is formed.
After leaving the press rollers 8, the two webs of material 3 and 6 are brought together according to reference number 9, and they then go through a quilting unit of a quilting device together 10, which is provided with needle heads 11, which the nonwoven web 6 with the material web 3> which is preferably made of polyurethane, quilting.
The needle head 11 is arranged and has such a needle occupation that the needles in the side edge areas of the combined web of material have a higher density, so that a higher needle stitch density is produced in these side edges will. Furthermore, an auxiliary needle head 12 is provided which the Composite web of material sewn or quilted transversely, these quilted transverse strips having predetermined distances from one another and have a pinhole density which corresponds approximately to the high pinhole density at the side edges of the composite material web .
The distances between the horizontal stripes with the high needle stitch density are selected according to the length segments into which the Composite web of material is to be subsequently divided. These mutually spaced transverse cuts are made in one Cross cutting unit 13, which in the simplest embodiment consists of a conventional saw blade, which according to the
109887/0246109887/0246
Desired length sections are used periodically. J? Er " The machine still has a delivery station 14 for the quilted ones Yerbund material web sections corresponding to the. desired lengths were cut, these material web sections then in the desired manner in their edges have a high pinhole density, while in their central area a lower, uniform pinhole density is present.
It should also be pointed out that the machine is both in terms of the width of the material web to be processed is adjustable as well as with regard to the position of the needle head areas high number of needles corresponding to a high needle stitch density for the composite material as well as with regard to the needle setting density and thus the needle stitch density itself.
