Abstract
Description
Process for chemical cleaning of fur Dirty fur coats, made from various types of fur such as Persian, lamb, mink etc. cannot work satisfactorily with organic solvents according to the state of the art, such as B. chlorine or chlorofluorocarbons can be cleaned. At this Solvent treatment of the furs takes place a degreasing of the leather, which under among other things to an embrittlement of the grain, lowering of the tear resistance and especially leads to a reduction in the tear resistance and hardening of the leather. This made-up furs are therefore tedious by cleaning with sawdust or walnut shells with the addition of various substances that have a cleaning effect cleaned. In addition to an inadequate cleaning effect, this method is present especially the laborious removal of the sawdust or walnut shavings after lautering from the Fur material a big disadvantage.
An attempt was made to use the dry-cleaning method as it is for textiles It is common to use it also for furs and the annoying degreasing of the fur leather to avoid by adding a refatting agent to the solvent. These additions but can only take place in relatively low concentrations (up to 20 gll), since with With higher use, the fur hair will be smeared. If you put a throwing effect of approx. 60 Z and takes into account the density of z. B. 1,1,2 trifluorotrichlorethylene (1.58 g / cm3) one obtains one when using 20 g of refatting agent Overlay of o.74 Z on the fur material. A substantive drawing up of the products is not given in an anhydrous medium. An addition of water to the system is necessary because of the sometimes low shrinkage temperature of the fur materials in any case remain under. If one puts an original fat content of the made-up fur leather Fur coats with approx. Lo - 15 Z extractable fat (extractant / trichlorethylene or methylene chloride), eo this percentage of fat decreases with dry cleaning depending on the duration of the treatment to 1 - 3%.
The use of a refatting agent under the conditions mentioned above With a grease of approx. 1 Z inserted into the leather, degreasing cannot be performed lift.
It has now been found that dry cleaning of fur materials in organic solvents with those required for proper refatting high concentration of icing agents of 100 - 400 g of product per liter of solvent can work, whereby it is irrelevant for the effect whether the refatting in the main cleaning cycle or as a follow-up treatment, if after treatment with refatting agents the fur material with pure solvent one or more times (preferably 1 - 6 times) briefly rinses, with each wiping spinning.
The rinsing time for the chemical cleaning devices that are used in practice today is more than enough between 1o + 6o sec. Here, surprisingly, there is significantly more extractable Fat removed from the fur hair than from the fur leather. It is following this procedure Yes, by correctly defining the machine-dependent refatting agent concentration and the duration and number of rinsing processes reduce the fat content in leather to about set the original value, the extractable contained in pelshair Fat content is 0.1 - 1 Z and does not give rise to any hair smears.
In the following the process is explained by means of some typical examples.
The scope of the invention is not limited by these examples.
Example 1 Approximately 5 kg of the plastic material to be cleaned are put into a approx. 12 kg material-holding Adsorba 12 (Böhler & Weber KG., machine factory) and 8 min. with or without the addition of cleaning enhancers with 1,1,2 Trifluorotrichloroethane treated. Then it is spun off and dried in between. Then the fur material is treated in the same machine with 300 g of a refatting agent, z. B. consisting of 20 Z of a sulfated FettalkoholätÄoxilats and 80 Z chlorinated paraffin per liter of trichlorotrifluoroethane for 3 minutes, then spins for 2 minutes, rinses once for 30 seconds with fresh solvent, spin for 2 minutes and rinse again 30 sec. With fresh solvent, each time adding the solvent the cleaning drum should stand still.
It is then spun for 2 minutes and then dried with warm air. A Persian fur material treated by this method had prior to cleaning a content of extractable fat in the hair of 1.2 Z and in leather of 12.3 2. After After the treatment, there were 0.82 extractables on the hair and 11.42 extractables on the leather Fat. The fur hair had a good shine, while the leather was pleasantly soft and supple grip.
Example 2 In a dry cleaning machine, the fur material cleaned as usual with perchlorethylene, instead of a cleaning booster a refatting agent consisting of 30 2 of a fatty alcohol ethoxylate phosphoric acid ester and 70 2 triolein is applied at a concentration of 200 g / l. The duration this treatment varies between 5 and 15 xin, depending on the type of machine. Afterward is centrifuged and rinsed with fresh perchlorethylene for 15 seconds A further intermediate spinning takes place the last rinse with a duration of 15 seconds with fresh solvent. The cleaning drum should be used while the solvent is being fed in stand still, so the spill cycle is only started after the addition of the solvent is complete. Finally, it is spun for 2 - 3 minutes and the goods are dried as usual.
A rabbit fur material treated according to this example had before Treatment 1.3 2 extractable fat in hair and 15.9 2 extractable fat in leather. After the treatment, there was 1.1 2 extractable fat in the hair and 14.7 2 in the leather found that the pelts had a good play of hairs, were completely open and showed no smearing.
The fur material to be cleaned is turned into a for working with gasoline suitable cleaning machine introduced and with gasoline with or without Detergent booster pre-cleaned as usual. Then the solvent centrifuged and the refatting with 150 g refatting agent, consisting of 20 2 Nnolthsnolaminoleate and 80 2 sperm oil per liter Gasoline during a duration of 4 minutes. Then the intermediate spinning takes place with 3 minutes, then 2 times briefly for 30 seconds
Nach diesem Beispiel gereinigtes Bibermaterial hatte vor der Behandlung einen extrahierbaren Fettgehalt von o,9 Z im Haar und 8,3 Z im Leder.rinsed with fresh gasoline, using the solvent after each rinse is thrown off and the addition of the gasoline with the cleaning drum at a standstill he follows. It is then dried as usual. Purified according to this example Before treatment, beaver material had an extractable fat content of 0.9% in the hair and 8.3 t in the leather.
After the treatment, 1.2% were found in the hair and 8.5% in the leather.
The hair was loose and had a silky sheen.
