Openend-Spinnverfahren und Vorrichtung zu seiner Durchführung^ ______ Open-end spinning process and device for its implementation ^ ______
_The invention relates to an open-end spinning process for spinning a fiber mass supplied by a drawing frame, which is received by a rapidly rotating upper funnel-shaped ■ spinning turbine and the transition to a lower funnel-shaped spinning turbine in a draft zone in single i fibers decomposed at the edge of the higher Reverse speed rotating lower spinning turbine to one! Sliver are put together, which is drawn off by a pair of take-off rollers from the center of the lower spinning turbine. _
In known open-end spinning processes, the spinning turbine a loose fiber mass is supplied, which has to be broken down into individual fibers. In the fed sliver are the However, individual fibers are not completely parallel, which has a disadvantageous effect on the subsequent open-end spinning process.
The invention is based on this disadvantage to avoid and it is proposed according to the invention that the fed fiber mass is twisted between the drafting system and the upper spinning turbine. This will make the Fibers in a closed stretched association are thrown into the lower spinning turbine under a certain tensile force. The yarn twist is generated by the upper spinning turbine while maintaining the proven spinning geometry. Due to the funnel-shaped widening of the diameter of the upper spinning turbine, in which one or more thread guide

The difference in the circumferential speeds of the upper and lower spinning turbines creates a warpage: t stage »which results in the disintegration of the fed fiber mass into stretched individual fibers as a deposit in the lower spinning turbine«
A device for carrying out the open-end spinning process according to the invention provides that the drafting system, the thread guide eye and the upper spinning turbine are arranged on the corner points of a triangle (spinning triangle) in a manner known in ring spinning machines. As a result, the proven spinning geometry of a conventional ring spinning machine is retained. The spinning technology arrangement, according to which the fed fiber mass between the drafting system and the upper spinning turbine receives a yarn twist and the fibers are thus controlled and fed in a stretched state from the upper spinning turbine to the lower spinning turbine, has the consequence that the yarn produced by the method according to the invention has the same or very similar character as the ™ yarn supplied by conventional ring spinning machines. Another advantage of the invention is that by eliminating the spindle ring rotor construction, maximum production of the spinning machine is achieved while maintaining the yarn quality. Finally, the invention provides the significant advantage that even p existing ring spinning machines easily can be converted into a open-end spinning machines.
