Mobility aid on a nursing bed

The invention relates to a mobility aid on a nursing bed, with which a simple and cost-effective as well as sturdily constructed repositioning and standing aid is created, which is arranged on the frame of the respective nursing bed, whereby the handle can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the bed.

To date, DE 297 09 508 has disclosed a solution for a mobility aid on a nursing bed, which is characterized in that it is formed from a telescopic extension that can be fixed under the nursing bed frame and a standpipe with handle arranged thereon, wherein the standpipe with handle is rotatable about the standpipe longitudinal axis and is held in the telescopic extension so that it can be rotated about the telescopic longitudinal axis and displaced in the telescopic axis direction.

However, this solution has the disadvantage that it is complicated and very expensive to manufacture due to the high level of technical effort involved, which has a negative impact on the price.

Furthermore, DE 197 16 249 discloses a solution for an aid device for disabled and bedridden patients. This solution is characterized by a post which has several handles at one end and which can be inserted and locked into a holder which encloses it in a form-fitting manner at the other end, the holder being provided with devices for fastening to the long side of the bed.

This auxiliary device has the disadvantage that it is very complicated and expensive due to the use of numerous parts. In addition, its design means it is not easy to operate.

Finally, DE G 93 10 319.0 discloses another solution for a hospital bed with a lifting device. This device on a hospital bed is characterized in that a vertical lower section of the lifting device is accommodated in a height-adjustable manner by a bushing that is firmly attached to the bed frame and that a raised position according to the function and a retracted position suitable for transport can be set.

However, this device on a hospital bed has the disadvantage that it only functions in the usual way in the function of a known gallows on a hospital bed, but cannot be used conveniently for the purpose of transferring patients.

The invention therefore sets itself the task of creating a structurally simple and thus cost-effective, but nevertheless stable and easy-to-use transfer aid, which is also effectively suitable as a standing-up aid, with which the

Getting in and out of a nursing bed is made significantly easier. In addition, the solution according to the invention should be able to be attached firmly and in a space-saving manner to the frame of the nursing bed, whereby the possibility of retrofitting a nursing bed with the device according to the invention should also be possible.
The object of the invention is achieved by the features shown in the characterizing part of point 1. The following subclaims represent advantageous embodiments.

The essence of the invention consists in a mobility aid, which consists of a substructure firmly mounted on the nursing bed frame with a movable handle slide with handle itself.

The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. The accompanying drawing shows:

A nursing bed is equipped with a mattress 6 and a slatted frame 7 underneath, which in turn rests on a nursing bed frame 2. For better handling both for the nursing staff and for the person being cared for, a substructure 1 is arranged below the nursing bed frame 2. This substructure 1 consists of a preferably square profile running parallel to the nursing bed frame 1 at a distance, which accommodates a handle slide 5, which ends at the top with two bars with a rounded handle 3. The person being cared for thus has the option of easily moving the handle 3 in a horizontal plane to a desired position. The handle slide 5 itself also has a square recess as a guide on the substructure 1, with a fitting and sliding piece 10 also arranged in the recess, through which

which allows tolerance compensation between the grab handle slide 5 and the substructure 1. The fitting and sliding piece 10 is preferably coated with Teflon to ensure that the grab handle slide 5 slides well. The grab handle slide 5 is moved sideways into the desired position by exerting pressure on one of its two bars on the substructure 1, with the guided length of the grab handle slide 5 being crucial for easy movement. The longer the profile-recessed base piece of the grab handle slide is designed as a guide, the easier it is to move on the substructure 1 while simultaneously counteracting tilting. Once the grab handle slide has been pushed into the desired position, it is actually used by grasping the rounded grab handle 3. The adjustable grab handle slide 5 with its rounded grab handle 3 is cranked on the substructure 1. The substructure 1 is attached to the nursing bed frame by means of a locking screw 4, which simultaneously serves to limit the movement of the handle slide 5.
Finally, the nursing bed is equipped with a conventional hydraulic system 10 for height adjustment, whereby the nursing bed is raised or lowered in a scissor-like manner on two columns. The nursing bed also has a base frame 9, which accommodates the entire mechanism for the hydraulic system for height adjustment.

Claims (5)

Mobility aid on a nursing bed, characterized in that it consists of a substructure ( 1 ) which is arranged at a distance below a nursing bed frame ( 2 ) parallel to the latter, wherein the substructure ( 1 ) accommodates a handle slide ( 5 ) which can be moved thereon and which ends at the top in two bars with a rounded handle ( 3 ). 2. Mobility aid on a nursing bed according to item 1 , characterized in that the substructure ( 1 ) is preferably made of square material and is designed as a counter profile thereon, guiding the movable handle slide ( 5 ). 3. Mobility aid on a nursing bed according to items 1 and 2 , characterized in that a locking screw ( 4 ) is attached to each side to fix the length of movement of the handle slide ( 5 ) on the substructure ( 1 ). 4. Mobility aid on a nursing bed according to items 1 to 3 , characterized in that a fitting and sliding piece ( 10 ) is arranged in the square recess of the handle slide ( 5 ) as a tolerance compensation to the substructure ( 1 ), which preferably has a Teflon coating, whereby an improved sliding ability on the substructure ( 1 ) is achieved. 5. Mobility aid on a nursing bed according to items 1 to 4 , characterized in that the handle ( 3 ) is arranged in a cranked manner on the handle slide ( 5 ), whereby lateral movement next to the nursing bed is possible.
