Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird mit der Erfindung ein Bett, insbesondere ein Kranken- oder Pflegebett vorgeschlagen, dass versehen ist mit
- einem höhenverstellbaren Gestell, das einen Rahmen mit Rahmenseiten- und Rahmenquerteilen und im Bereich der Rahmenquerteile paarweise untereinander durch Querverstrebungen verbundene Beine aufweist, wobei die Beine auf einem Untergrund abstützende untere Enden aufweisen und an ihren gegenüberliegenden oberen Enden an parallel zu den Rahmenseitenteilen verlaufenden Führungsprofilen abgestützt und verschiebbar geführt sind, und
- zwei Hubaggregaten, die jeweils eine Antriebseinheit mit einem Gehäuse und eine Schubstange aufweisen, welche von der Antriebseinheit aus dem Gehäuse herausbewegbar sowie in das Gehäuse hineinbewegbar ist,
- wobei sich jedes Hubaggregat zwischen einem der Rahmenquerteile einerseits und der Querverstrebung zwischen den diesem Rahmenquerteil gegenüberliegenden Paar von Beinen andererseits erstreckt und an seinem Gehäuse sowie an dem diesem abgewandten freien Ende seiner Schubstange mit dem jeweiligen Rahmenquerteil bzw. der Querverstrebung verbunden ist, und
- wobei die beiden Hubaggregate im Bereich der Rahmenseitenteile angeordnet sind, und zwar unter Freilassung eines Zwischenraums zwischen den beiden Hubaggregaten zur Unterbringung eines Verstellantriebes für eine verstellbare Matratzenauflagevorrichtung.

- A bed, in particular a sickbed or nursing bed, comprising- a height-adjustable bedstead (12) having a frame (40) comprising frame side parts (38) and frame transverse parts (42, 44) and, in the region of the frame transverse parts (42, 44), legs (24, 26) connected with each other in pairs by means of cross bracings (46), wherein the legs (24, 26) have lower ends supported on a floor and, at their opposite upper ends (32, 34), are supported and slidably guided at guiding profiles (36) extending in parallel to the frame side parts (38), and- two lifting assemblies (52) each having a drive unit (54) comprising a housing (56), and a pushrod (58) adapted to be moved out of the housing (56) and into the housing (56) by the drive unit (54),- wherein each lifting assembly (52) extends between one of the frame transverse parts (42) on the one hand, and the cross bracing (46) arranged between the pair of legs (24, 26) opposite said frame transverse part (42) on the other hand, and, at its housing (56) as well as at the free end of its push rod (58) facing away from said housing, is connected with the respective frame transverse part (42) or the cross bracing (46),characterized in that- the two lifting assemblies (52) are arranged in the region of the frame side parts (38), leaving a space for accommodation of an adjustment drive (16) for an adjustable mattress supporting device (14).
- The bed according to claim 1, wherein each transverse bracing (46) comprises a cross brace (48) and two angular or arcuate braces (50) which extend from the cross brace (48) to the upper ends (32, 34) of the legs (24, 26), and, at said angular or arcuate braces (50), the legs (24, 26) are guided and supported at the guide profiles (36).
- The bed according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the legs (24, 26) are articulated to support braces (70) which are supported at the frame (40) in a manner rotatable about axes extending in parallel to the frame transverse parts (42).
