Automobilkühler, bei welchen der Kühleinsatz auswechselbar in einem Rahmen angeordnet ist, sind bekannt. Von diesen Kühlern unterscheidet sich der Erfmdungsgegenstand dadurch, daß über dem Rahmen, in welchem der Einsatz unter Belassung von seitlichen Luftdurchzügen Aufnahme findet, eine abnehmbare Haube angeordnet ist, die Luftdurchzugsröhren aufweist, durch welche ίο das zunächst in die Haube strömende Wasser vorgekühlt wird, ehe es in den Kühleinsatz gelangt. Da die Röhren der Haubejin Längsrichtung des Automobils liegen, so findet bereits in der Haube eine wirksame Kühlung des Wassers statt. Infolge der Abnehmbarkeit der Haube werden die einzelnen Teile des Kühlers leicht zugänglich, so daß die Röhren sowohl der Haube als auch des Einsatzes leicht gereinigt und ausgewechselt werden können.Automobile cooler, in which the cooling insert is arranged interchangeably in a frame is known.
