The present invention is based on the object of devising a snail fence that is cost-effective, easy to assemble, highly effective, low-maintenance and weather-resistant.

This task is solved by the features of claims 1 to 8.

A compact snail fence consists of some snail fence strips, which are made either as a thin plate of galvanized metal or Corten steel or of a standard plastic, preferably polypropylene (PP), which can be recycled.

On the upper edges of the snail fence strips, special snail profiles and corner connections with a flag / double flag are attached, which are directed outside the compact snail fence and downwards and whose cross section has a straight or a curved shape, which is why the compact snail fence is insurmountable for the snails. The corner connections are technologically manufactured in one piece, with the length of their legs being sufficient to hold the corner connections securely and permanently on the corners of the compact snail fence.

With one type of corner connection, the corner tip is directed towards the outside of the bed and with another type of corner connection it is directed towards the middle of the bed. In addition, the corner connections of both types are usable either on the corners of the compact snail fence where the edges of the connection strips are crossed or on the corners where the edges of the connection strips and the vertically curved edges have full contact.

A flight profile is a pre-formed object made of plastics such as PVC/TPE/EPDM and has the shape of a thread solution profile with a flag/an edge protection profile with a flag/a sealing profile with a flag, some profiles being provided with clamping lips/clamping inserts. The screw thread profiles made from such plastics can have a length of several centimeters to 2 m.

The ends of the screw flight profile can have an angle of 45/90 degrees. To form the inner angle of the compact snail fence with the angle value 90/135 degrees, the ends of the snail flight profile have the angle 45/67.5 degrees.

The snail fence strips are positioned on special supports that are located in ground grooves and on which the snail fence strips have all the possible different combinations of the degree of freedom of movement that exist in an empty space, the support being made of a plastic, the shape of a cylinder or a several centimeters thick, the base of the support being flat, spherical, or having an end cone to facilitate extraction of the support from a floor groove. On the front of the support there are three rectilinear recesses, which have a vertical V-shape and different depths, while they are arranged diametrically, horizontally and at an angle of 120 degrees to each other around the vertical axis. Any recess in the support is used to insert any flat object into it, after which the support is rotated around the vertical axis so that the end of a snail fence strip could lie in a recess which ensures a required level of the upper edge of a snail fence strip when erecting the compact snail fence .

If the snail fence strips are made from a standard plastic, the height and material thickness of such strips are comparable to the height and material thickness of a privacy strip used in the construction of opaque garden fences.

If the snail fence strips are made of thin metal plates, their long service life as well as uncomplicated (without difficulties) installation when erecting the compact snail fence are achieved by the correct choice of lengths/thicknesses/strengths of metal plates, sizes of their slots and distances between the edge and the slot, which give the snail fence strip the required rigidity. The snail fence strips located in the snail fence can either be crossed by their vertical edges or contacted by their edges overlapping.
