Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Schacht für ein in einer vertikalen Wand befindliches Fenster.
Auf Erdbodenhöhe gelegene Fenster haben oft auf ihrer Aussenseite einen Schacht, um dem Licht Zutritt zu geben sowie zu Ventilationszwecken. In diesen Lichtschächten können sich jedoch Wasser, Abfälle und Blätter ansammeln, so dass sie den Durchtritt des Lichtes behindern und die Ventilation beeinträchtigen oder ganz verhindern.
Die Erfindung bezweckt die Schaffung eines derartigen Lichtschachtes, der Wasser, Abfälle, Blätter und dgl. fernhält und damit dem Licht sowie der Ventilationsluft Durchtritt gewährt.
Zu diesem Zweck weist der Schacht auf der Aussenseite eine halbkreisförmige Wand mit einer horizontalen oberen Randkante auf.
Erfindungsgemäss ist dieser Schacht gekennzeichnet durch eine Mehrzahl von Pfosten, welche sich längs der Aussenfläche der Schachtwandung abwärts erstrecken und im Abstand voneinander angeordnet sind, und welche an ihrem oberen Ende eine sich einwärts über die genannte Randkante erstrekkende horizontale Verbreiterung mit einem horizontalen Schlitz aufweisen, ferner durch einen transparenten halbkreisförmigen Deckel, dessen gerade Randkante gegen die vertikale Wand anliegt, während der gekrümmte Rand des Deckels über dem Rand der Schachtwandung liegt und in allen den genannten Schlitzen gehalten ist.
Der Schachtdeckel ist vorzugsweise von der vertikalen Wand nach aussen abwärts geneigt, indem Teile des Deckelrandes sich im Abstand über der oberen Randkante der Schachtwandung befinden, wodurch eine gewisse Luftzirkulation gewährleistet ist. Da der Deckel zudem transparent ist, ist auch dem Licht der Zutritt zum Fenster ermöglicht.
Durch die Neigung des Deckels wird sowohl das Regenwasser vom Fenster abgehalten wie auch verhindert wird, dass sich Blätter, Abfälle und dgl. im Schacht ansammeln können.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt. Es zeigen:

In einer vertikalen Wand 10 einer Hausmauer o. dgl., welche mit Schindeln 12 bedeckt ist, befindet sich ein Fenster 14, das mindestens teilweise unter Erdbodenhöhe angeordnet ist.
Auf der Aussenseite befindet sich ein Lichtschacht 16 mit einer halbkreisförmigen vertikalen Aussenwand 18.
Entlang dieser Aussenwand 18 sind im Abstand voneinander eine Mehrzahl von Pfählen 20 vorgesehen. Jeder Pfahl weist einen flachen, dünnen, langgestreckten Hauptkörper 72 auf, welcher an seinem unteren Ende 24 zugespitzt ist und am oberen Ende eine sich über die Wand 18 in den Schacht erstreckende horizontale Verbreiterung aufweist. Jede Verbreiterung weist einen oberen und einen unteren horizontalen Flansch 26 auf, welche Flanschen zwischen sich einen Schlitz 28 einschliessen.
Die Verbreiterungen der Pfosten an den Enden der Schachtwand 18 befinden sich in einem Abstand über der oberen Randkante der Schachtwandung, während die Verbreiterungen der übrigen Pfosten auf der genannten Randkante aufliegen.
Ein transparenter und halbkreisförmiger Deckel 30 aus Kunststoff liegt mit seinem geraden Rand gegen die Hausmauer 10 unmittelbar unterhalb einer Schindelreihe an, und sein gekrümmter Rand liegt über dem oberen Rand der Schachtwandung 18. Der Aussenrand des Deckels ist lösbar in den Schlitzen 28 gehalten, derart, dass der Deckel von der Hauswand 10 nach aussen abfällt, dadurch sind die Luftzirkulation sowohl als auch die anderen oben genannten Vorteile gewährleistet.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Schacht für ein in einer vertikalen Wand befindliches Fenster, welcher Schacht auf der Aussenseite eine halbkreisförmige Wand mit einem horizontalen oberen Rand aufweist.
gekennzeichnet durch eine Mehrzahl von Pfosten, welche sich längs der Aussenfläche der Schachtwandung abwärts erstrekken und im Abstand voneinander angeordnet sind, und welche an ihrem oberen Ende eine sich einwärts über die genannte Randkante erstreckende horizontale Verbreiterung mit einem horizontalen Schlitz aufweisen, ferner durch einen transparenten halbkreisförmigen Deckel, dessen gerade Randkante gegen die vertikale Wand anliegt, während der gekrümmte Rand des Deckels über dem Rand der Schachtwandung liegt und in allen den genannten Schlitzen gehalten ist.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE
1. Schacht nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder Pfosten einen vertikalen, dünnen, flachen, langgestreckten Hauptkörper aufweist, welcher unten zugespitzt ist.
2. Schacht nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbreiterung eines jeden Pfostens ein Paar horizontaler Flanschen aufweist, welche sich im Abstand übereinander befinden und den genannten Schlitz einschliessen.
3. Schacht nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbreiterungen der an den Enden der Schachtwandung befindlichen Pfosten sich in einem Abstand über der oberen Randkante der Schachtwandung befinden, während die Verbreiterungen der übrigen Pfosten auf der genannten Randkante aufliegen.

Windows at ground level often have a shaft on their outside to allow light access and for ventilation purposes. In these light wells, however, water, waste and leaves can collect, so that they obstruct the passage of light and impair ventilation or prevent it entirely.
The aim of the invention is to create a light shaft of this type which keeps away water, waste, leaves and the like and thus allows passage of light and ventilation air.
For this purpose, the shaft has a semicircular wall on the outside with a horizontal upper edge.
According to the invention, this shaft is characterized by a plurality of posts which extend downwards along the outer surface of the shaft wall and are arranged at a distance from one another, and which at their upper end have a horizontal widening with a horizontal slot extending inwardly over the said marginal edge by a transparent semicircular cover, the straight edge of which rests against the vertical wall, while the curved edge of the cover lies over the edge of the shaft wall and is held in all of the named slots.
The manhole cover is preferably inclined downward from the vertical wall, in that parts of the cover edge are located at a distance above the upper edge of the manhole wall, whereby a certain air circulation is ensured. Since the cover is also transparent, light is also allowed to enter the window.
The inclination of the lid both keeps rainwater away from the window and prevents leaves, rubbish and the like from collecting in the shaft.

In a vertical wall 10 of a house wall or the like, which is covered with shingles 12, there is a window 14 which is arranged at least partially below ground level.
A light shaft 16 with a semicircular vertical outer wall 18 is located on the outside.
A plurality of piles 20 are provided along this outer wall 18 at a distance from one another. Each post has a flat, thin, elongated main body 72 which is pointed at its lower end 24 and at the upper end has a horizontal widening extending over the wall 18 into the shaft. Each widening has an upper and a lower horizontal flange 26, which flanges enclose a slot 28 between them.
The widenings of the posts at the ends of the shaft wall 18 are located at a distance above the upper edge of the shaft wall, while the widenings of the other posts rest on said edge.
A transparent and semicircular cover 30 made of plastic rests with its straight edge against the house wall 10 immediately below a row of shingles, and its curved edge lies above the upper edge of the shaft wall 18. The outer edge of the cover is held releasably in the slots 28 in such a way that the cover falls off the house wall 10 to the outside, thereby the air circulation as well as the other advantages mentioned above are guaranteed.
