Abstract

Description

TECHNICAL PART

The present innovation relates to a water suction / emptying group for a tub or a basin.

STATE OF THE ART

The basins generally have a drainage or suction system which has an opening in a side wall defining the basin water containment pan itself. In particular, the opening is located near the bottom wall of the pool. This opening is usually connected to a suction motor, which facilitates the drainage of the water. Such a solution may be technically appropriate with regard to water suction for water circulation (underwater massage or whirlpool effect), but it should be viewed critically with regard to emptying the pool. Because although the opening can be made close to the bottom wall, it cannot guarantee that the basin will be completely emptied.

In order to achieve a complete emptying of the basin, the water remaining below the opening has to be removed manually from the basin.

In addition, the opening obtained as described above also presents an aesthetic problem. As those skilled in the art should understand, this problem is even more acute with whirlpools, since their function and location increase their aesthetic importance.

To solve the problem described above, some basins have an opening directly in the bottom part. In this case, the opening is covered by a plate which is attached above the bottom wall and has a small distance to this so that the water can flow through.

Although this solution guarantees complete emptying of the basin without the need for manual intervention, it poses a productivity problem with regard to the number of components to be manufactured and assembled.

There has therefore been a need to manufacture swimming pools, particularly whirlpools, which include a water suction / drainage assembly, the technical characteristics of which have been able to solve the problems of the prior art set out above.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The subject of the present invention is a tub or basin comprising a water containment tub defined by an inner wall and a water suction / drainage group; said basin being characterized in that said water suction / drainage group comprises: a bottom portion of said inner wall, an opening located at one end of said bottom portion, and a plurality of conduits connected to said Opening are connected and extend outside of said basin; said bottom portion being disposed in an inclined position relative to a horizontal plane of the basin in its in-use position, thereby defining an upper and a lower end; said opening being formed at said lower end.

Preferably the lower end forms an edge of said bottom portion and said opening is a slot made along this edge.

Preferably, said water suction / discharge group comprises a suction motor connected to the plurality of conduits.

Preferably, said plurality of conduits comprises an evacuation conduit which is arranged upstream of the suction motor in correspondence with the direction of the water flowing through the opening.

Preferably said basin comprises a water circulation system which in turn comprises said water suction / emptying group.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In the 1 and 2 the entirety of the basin according to the invention is denoted by 1. The basin 1 includes a tub 2 to surround the water by an inner wall 3 is defined, and a water suction / drain group 4th . Basin after Claim 1 , characterized in that said lower end (5b) forms an edge of the bottom portion and the opening (6) is a slot made along this edge. Basin after Claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that said water suction / discharge group (4) comprises a suction motor (9) connected to the plurality of ducts (7). Basin according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said plurality of ducts (7) comprises a discharge duct (10) arranged upstream of the suction motor (9) according to the direction of the water flowing through the opening (6). Basin according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a water circulation system (8) which in turn comprises the water suction / emptying group (4).
