Abstract

The tubing cleaner rig has sealing adapter (5) which is hermetically connected with an extension pipe (4). The extension pipe can be firmly and removably connected e.g. screwed with the sealing adapter. Effective sealing is achieved by using different adapters.

Description

Pipe cleaners that use compressed air to clean clogged drain pipes (so-called compressed air pipe cleaners) require a good seal between the compressed air tank of the cleaning appliance and the drain pipe to be cleaned. In order to achieve a good seal on various drains and pipes, so-called "adapters" (also called "attachments") in various sizes and shapes are used ( 2 ). In the present invention is a special adapter, which is particularly well suited for the cleaning of clogged toilet drains ( 1 ). The toilet special adapter is available as an accessory in conjunction with any commercial compressed air pipe cleaner ( 1 ) thought.

PROBLEM

Claims (5)

Pipe cleaner attachment for the sealing of hard to reach drainpipes - especially WC outlets - in use with a compressed air pipe cleaner characterized in that the sealing adapter itself together with an extension pipe ( 4 ) is used. This extension tube must be airtight with the adapter ( 5 ). The extension tube can be both fixed and removable - eg screwed or plugged - connected to the sealing adapter. Pipe cleaner attachment according to claim 1, characterized in that the adapter used for sealing is conical ( 6 ) to ensure the best possible sealing of different drainage diameters. Pipe cleaner attachment according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the adapter used for sealing made of a soft material - or Material combination - made is so that it adapts to different outflow forms and thus better seals. Pipe cleaner attachment according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the direction of the air outlet opening deviates from the direction of the pipe axis ( 7 ) and thus adapts to the usual toilet drainage directions.
