Es wurde gefunden, daß man zu wertvollen ο - Oxydisazofarbstoffen gelangt, wenn man m - Amino - ρ - kresol, welches in der Hydroxylgruppe durch den Arylsulforest geschützt ist, mit Diazoverbindungen, insbesondere mit Diazosulfosäuren der Benzol- oder Naphtalinreihe kuppelt, die so erhaltenen Aminoazofarbstoffe sodann weiter diazotiert, mit Azokomponenten vereinigt und zum Schluß durch verseifendeIt has been found that valuable o-oxydisazo dyes are obtained if m - amino - ρ - cresol, which is protected in the hydroxyl group by the aryl sulfo group, with diazo compounds, in particular with diazosulfonic acids of the benzene or naphthalene series coupled, the aminoazo dyes thus obtained are then further diazotized with azo components united and finally by saponifying
In this way, dyes are obtained which, in addition to excellent fastness properties of their chromed colorations, are distinguished by nuances strongly tending towards green. So the dye, which is obtained from the dye: sulfanilic acid - \ - m-amino-p-cresol toluene sulfoester - \ - ß-naphtol, is already a distinct blue-green. The ρ - tolyl sulfo - m - aminoparacresol ester used is produced by reducing the corresponding nitro - ρ - cresol ester; it crystallizes from alcohol in star-shaped grouped glass-glazing prismatic crystals with a melting point of 78 °.
i. The diazo compound prepared in the usual way from 17.5 kg of sulfanilic acid is isolated and added to an alcoholic solution of 28 kg of p-tolylsulfonic acid-m-aminoparacresol ester. The coupling begins immediately with yellowing of the mass and is over after 24 hours. The dye is partly excreted, partly with a dark red-yellow color in solution. The mass is diluted with water, made alkaline with soda and salted out any dye that is still in solution. The yellow sparingly soluble sodium salt of the dye is filtered off with suction, then stirred up again with water and further diazotized by adding excess hydrochloric acid and 7 kg of sodium nitrite. The insoluble yellow diazo is isolated and treated with a solution of 14.5 kg ß-naphthol in 20 kg of sodium hydroxide 40 0 Be, which with surplus -.! Is set ger soda combined. The combination is completed after a short time and the resulting blue-red dye is either immediately or after previous isolation with 100 kg of sodium hydroxide solution at 40 ° Be. boiled until a sample taken out does not show any further change to green when dissolved in water. Some of the sodium hydroxide solution is neutralized by adding hydrochloric acid, and the dye which has separated out is filtered off, pressed and dried. When dry, it forms a violet-black powder, which dissolves in hot water with a greenish-blue color, and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a green color. Wool is dyed burgundy in an acidic bath; when it is re-chromed, it turns into a bleach and lightfast blue-green.
The diazo compound from 17.5 kg of sulfanilic acid is dissolved in a solution of 28 kg of p-tolylsulfonic acid - m - aminoparacresol ester registered in 50 kg of 90 percent acetic acid. After coupling is complete, the dye is removed
Wolle wird im sauren Bad violett gefärbt, durch Chromieren erhält man ein echtes Blaugrün.sucked, converted into sodium salt by adding soda and water and as in the example ι further diazotized. The diazo compound is then carried into an alkaline solution of 22.5 kg of sheep's salt and isolates the dye formed. The same is then heated in aqueous solution with 20 kg of hydrated lime until the color no longer changes changed, soda added until all the lime has precipitated and the dye solution is boiling hot nitrided. The dye is precipitated and isolated by adding acid and salt and dried. The dye dissolves easily in water with green-blue, in concentrated Sulfuric acid with green color. Wool is dyed purple in an acid bath by chroming you get a real blue-green.
