[0006] In Figur 1 ist die Schablone 1 in einer perspektivischen Draufsicht gezeigt. Sie ist aus einer Kunststoffplatte in einer Dicke bzw. Stärke 2 von 2mm bis 3mm gefertigt, welche das Schneiden entlang des Randes 6 der Schablone 1 mit einem geeigneten Schneidmesser gestattet. Die einspringenden Ecken 3 erfüllen einen doppelten Zweck. Einerseits definieren sie die Ecken des herzustellenden Briefumschlages und andererseits geben die sie verbindenden, hier gestrichelt markierten Linien 4 als späteren Faltlinien 4 an. Geschenk- und Schrankpapiere, sowohl Abfallpapiere wie Zeitungen, Zeitschriften, alte Landkarten, Kalender, Poster usw. eignen sich als Material.
