Auf der anderen Seite der glatten Seitenflä che (2) sind zwei geschlossene Luftkammern (5) angeordnet, an welche sich drei von der Seitenfläche (2) wegweisende und nach unten abgebogene Laschen (6) anschliessen. Hierbei ist die Deckenisolierung (9) durch das Dichtprofil (1) ge gen die Seitenwandisolierung (11) abgedichtet. Die Sandwichisolierung der Decke besteht aus einer Kunststoffplatte (8) aus ABS mit einer aufgeschäumten Hartschaumisolierung aus PU-Schaum (12). Die ABS-Platte (8) steht seitlich soweit über die PU-Schaumisolierung hinaus, dass das Dichtprofil (1) mit der Nut (4) auf den Plattenrand bis zur Anlage der Wand (2) aufgesteckt werden kann. Die Sandwichisolierung der Seitenwand (11) besteht ebenso aus einer ABS-Platte (8), auf die eine Isolierschicht aus Hart-PU-Schaum aufgeschäumt ist. Zur Verbindung mit der Karosserie-Innenseite dient eine Schicht aus 2-Komponenten-PU- Schaum (10). Zur Montage der Deckenisolierung wird auf beiden Längsseiten der Decken sandwichplatte (9) in der erforderlichen Länge das Dichtprofil (1) aufgesteckt, und evtl. noch mit Stahlstiften oder Schrauben (14) gesichert. Auf die Oberseite der Isolierung (9) wird nun ebenfalls eine Schicht aus 2-Komponenten-PU-Schaum aufgebracht. Dann wird die Deckenisolierung zwischen den Seitenisolierungen und der ebenfalls isolierten Stirnwand ho rizontal bis zur Anlage an der Decke nach oben gedrückt. Wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich ist, wer den die Laschen (6) dabei weiter nach unten abgebogen und bilden weitere geschlossene und isolierende Luftkammern (7). Die Gestaltung des Dichtprofils gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung erlaubt ausser der abdichtenden und isolierenden Wirkung noch eine besonders grosse ausgleichende Wirkung bei Massabweichungen, nämlich auf jeder Seite bis zu 5 mm.
