Furnierkörper mit Zwischenlagen von elastischem Stoff. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 29. November 1906 ab. Veneer body with intermediate layers of elastic fabric. Patented in the German Empire on November 29, 1906.

The object of the invention differs from the known veneer bodies, with intermediate layers of sheet metal between two or more sheets of veneer, Leather, paper, hard rubber, cardboard, fabric and similar materials are brought in and the intermediate layers with the veneers underneath Be combined with one another by pressure with the aid of a suitable binding agent, ίο that instead of the substances listed above, vulcanized fiber is used as an intermediate layer '. This should result in a particularly elastic and resistant body, because Vulcanized fiber with great flexibility also has sufficient strength and is better like the above-mentioned bodies known as intermediate layers with the veneer cover timbers can connect. The use of vulcanized fiber as a covering for wood is known, but not as an intermediate layer between veneers.
