Description
The invention relates to a method for producing voluminous nonwovens with both sides arranged mesh layers of light, longitudinally oriented fiber or Filament fleece on double-bar warp knitting machines, in particular sewing machines that work with closable needles to form stitches that are not in the nonwoven fabric stab or puncture the same.
The processing of light, longitudinally oriented nonwovens into nonwovens is general known Voltex process (DD 39 819) and Kunit process (DD 282 585) known. at In this process, the nonwoven fabric becomes a stitch layer and a layer by means of pusher needles Pole layer worked up, the fibers simultaneously fiber mesh and pile fiber loops form. Furthermore, it is already known that parts of the fibers from the pile fiber loops in one second independent work step to form stitches so that both sides of the Nonwoven are covered with layers of mesh (multiknit process). The production Such nonwovens, however, require two operations, which only take two consecutive times separate devices can be carried out and thus a high technical and require time expenditure.
The production of large-volume nonwovens with surfaces consolidated on both sides is for example also known from DE 42 20 338 A and DE 43 09 990 A, in which a relative thin fleece with mostly longitudinal fibers meandering to a voluminous one Is deposited and then fiber slings made of fibers in the Surface area of the side to be consolidated is detected and formed into fiber meshes be the vertices of adjacent meandering arches on both surfaces with each other connect. Since the fleece is punctured arbitrarily at the reversal points, only random fibers in the mesh. With these methods, however, it works not to form all the fibers of the folded sheets into stitches or the fibers in the Anchor mesh layer. However, the meshing of the two sides can only be done by two fleece meshes arranged one behind the other and working separately education zones occur, which is technically complex and uneconomical.
Technical solutions are known for the consolidation of nonwovens, those with two-bar Devices work. DD 147 558, for example, describes a device for mechanical consolidation of cross-oriented nonwovens known, in which the needles in two rows working against each other, between which the fleece runs, are arranged and Opposite needles and intervene alternately. A simultaneous intervention is possible if the needles are staggered or next to each other. Another solidification of this Nonwovens can be achieved with the device described in DD 219 047 by at least one row of needles at least once during a stitch formation process is laterally displaced in the direction of the row of needles.
Auch aus der DE 35 33 934 A1 ist eine Vorrichtung zum doppelseitigen Verfestigen von Faservlies bekannt, mit der ein im Arbeitszyklus höhenmäßig wechselnder Versatz der Nadelsysteme möglich ist, so daß mit allen Nadelteilungen gearbeitet werden kann.DE 35 33 934 A1 also discloses a device for the double-sided hardening of Fibrous nonwoven is known, with which the height of the offset changes in the work cycle Needle systems are possible, so that you can work with all needle divisions.
When presenting cross-oriented nonwovens, the needles must be inserted into the nonwoven or pierce to capture enough fibers for stitch formation. The one there random fibers are reoriented and are partly perpendicular to The surface of the fabric, the remaining part of the fibers remains cross-oriented. This does not exclude that transverse fibers are simultaneously in several needle hooks and consequently torn become.
With this device it is possible to double-sided Fleece meshing can be further improved in quality by dividing the consolidating fleece in at least two layers of fleece and by arranging Spacers between the layers at the level of the opposite rows of needles Mesh formation is supported.
The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages and a Process for producing a large-volume nonwoven fabric arranged on both sides To propose mesh layers as surfaces with which it is possible to almost all fibers a light fiber or filament fleece without major technical effort with higher than to produce currently common services of comparable technology. The fibers should be worked into the stitch network as many times as possible and at the same time Form a connection between the outer mesh layers.
According to the invention, the task is characterized by the characteristic method steps Claim 1 solved. Advantageous further developments are in the subclaims described.
With the method according to the invention it is possible to use high-volume nonwovens over 20 mm Thickness from longitudinally oriented light nonwovens without reducing the cross-sectional strength to produce, the thickness of the nonwoven can be varied easily. Through the middle The voluminous nonwoven fabric can be separated into two separate nonwoven webs at the same time produce, each with a mesh layer as the base material and a plush surface, which is formed from protruding fiber ends. Because the connection between the outer mesh layers is formed exclusively by fibers that are not are twisted together, the nonwoven can also be separated without cutting. to Expanding the areas of application of such voluminous products can simultaneously additional textile or non-textile materials are fed and in the mesh layers be involved.
The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. The accompanying drawing shows a schematic cross section of the workplace double-bar sewing machine for performing the method according to the invention.
The implementation of the method according to the invention is preferably carried out on a double-barreled sewing machine with opposing lockable needles 1 ; 2 , which are arranged in one plane. Instead of slide needles, tongue or round-headed needles can also be used. The nonwoven fabric 7 to be processed is fed directly to the needles 1 , 2 by a nonwoven forming device, not shown. Light, longitudinally oriented nonwovens 7 with a mass per unit area of up to 80 g / m 2 are used. Furthermore, the processing of filament nonwovens is possible, which can have slight pre-consolidation to improve the processing possibilities, which are largely solved again during further processing of the nonwoven. By means of known stuffing devices 8 ; 9 , for example a vibrating brush strip, the nonwoven fabric 7 is continuously alternately placed in the hooks of the slide needles 1 and 2 . When the fiber fleece 7 is inserted into the hooks of the slide needles 1 , they are in their front dead center and the opposite slide needles 2 are in their rearmost position. After inserting the nonwoven fabric 7 in the pusher needles 1 , these are moved to their rear dead center, so that the fibers of the nonwoven fabric 7 in the hook are formed into fiber strands and then into half-stitches 3 a and then knocked off by means of the knock-off device 5 to stitches 3 , which form the mesh layer 10 on the front of the nonwoven fabric 14 . During the backward movement of the slider needles 1 , the slider needles 2 are moved to their front dead center, where, with the stuffing device 9, the nonwoven fabric 7 is inserted into the hooks of the slider needles 2 . The formation of the fiber stitches 4 takes place by means of the knock-off device 6 analogously to the stitch formation with the slide needles 1 . The stitches 4 formed by the slider needles 2 likewise form a stitch layer 11 on the back of the nonwoven fabric 14 . Between the stitches 3 ; 4 of the mesh layers 10 ; 11 , the fiber parts which are not formed into stitches are formed into fiber webs 12 which are arranged parallel to one another and almost perpendicular to the stitch layers 10 , 11 . Corresponding to their fiber length, all the fibers of the nonwoven fabric 7 are processed in stitches and pieces so that they form one or more times both the stitches of the stitch layers 10 , 11 and the fiber webs 12 located between them.
The thickness of the nonwoven fabric 14 is determined by the distance X of the knock-off devices and can be up to 50 mm and above. An influencing of the working speed does not occur because the stroke of the needles 1 , 2 regardless of the thickness of the nonwoven fabric 14 can have a constant value of, for example, 15 to 17 mm, so that a significant increase in performance is achieved compared to comparable technologies.
By incorporating additional textile or non-textile threads, cords, ribbons or the like in the stitches 3 and / or 4 , which run parallel to the stitch layer or layers 10 and / or 11 , the nonwoven fabric 14 can be reinforced, patterned or for appropriate equipment processes are improved according to the intended area of application. Instead of the flexible thread-like material, stiff strand-like material can also be integrated according to the pattern. With the filling or spraying in of scatterable materials and / or chemicals, for example by means of a spray or scattering device 15 , between the fiber webs 12 , the properties of the nonwoven fabric 14 can also be changed or improved in accordance with its processing and application.
Furthermore, two separate nonwoven webs with a plush-like surface can be produced from the nonwoven fabric 14 by means of suitable separating or cutting devices, each of which has a mesh layer 10 ; 11 is formed with protruding fiber parts 12 . Since the fiber webs 12 lie against one another with different lengths, pyramidal fiber tufts are formed on the plush side. The height of the tufts of fibers depends on the length of the fibers used for the fleece 7 and the selected distance X and can thus be varied within certain limits. The thickness of the double goods correlates with the length of the fiber fleece used. The plush-like nonwoven webs can be after-treated by the known finishing processes, such as scissors, brushes or the like, and thermally.
