Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a covering for forming a surface on a surface, for example a floor or a Wall. The invention further relates to a method for Production of a covering.
Coverings for creating floors or wall coverings usually consist of several slabs or tiles that un ter formation of joints or immediately adjacent (seamless) on a bed, for example a concrete bed, or to be laid on a wall. Any joints between be neighboring slabs or tiles are filled with a joint material closed. An alternative covering is full-surface, namely seamless, educated. He can by applying a flowable covering material on a base, for example a concrete bed.
A large number of such coverings are known. The created Rubbers have a relatively simply designed upper surface. At most, the surfaces can be colored be through an opaque plain or patterned deck layer.
The invention is based on the object of optically speaking covering and a process for simple production to create such a covering.
The covering according to the invention has a solution to this problem over at least one a transparent, hardening reason material and solid, colored arranged in the base material Particle-containing layer. The flowable according to the invention Covering can therefore be easily applied to the base be worn. Thanks to the transparent base material the particles are arranged under the surface of the cover layer be, whereby special optical effects can be achieved for example, a dazzling gem topping.
According to a development of the invention, the covering has two different layers. Through the two layers you can different functions of the covering can be separated. For example, the top layer can be tough Have surface while the bottom layer by ab softening materials can have special optical effects, for which purpose the preferably upper layer is made transparent.
The covering preferably has a first layer Primer consisting of a mixture of at least one transparent epoxy resin and / or polyurethane with pearl gloss pigments, and as a second layer a top layer, be standing from a mixture of synthetic resin and solid, colored Particles, for example glass particles, lead crystal particles and / or transparent or opaque gemstones. The particular whose optical effects can be the Er So through pearlescent pigments in the primer first layer as well as glass, lead crystal or gemstone particles in the top layer are caused in the under different depths of the surface are arranged so that a spatial effect arises.
A special embodiment of the invention is thereby characterized records that the top layer is a ground and / or has a polished surface. This allows the achieved optical effect can be enhanced. By polishing the Surface can be a high-gloss surface, for example to be created. It also results in a scattering of light of recesses, scratches and grooves in the surface avoided.
A method for solving the basis of the invention Task is characterized in that on a pad first the base layer is applied and onto this during or just before the deck is fully cured layer is applied. The particles, i.e. pearlescent pigments, Glass, lead crystal and / or gemstones are used with the flowable or spreadable carrier material, for example Epoxy resin, polyurethane or synthetic resin, mixed and can in a simple way on the base or the primer be applied. Through the simple manufacturing process can cover a wide variety of shapes and surfaces to be created.
Further claims relate to advantageous embodiments of the covering according to the invention or the method for manufacturing the same.
In dieser zeigen:Preferred embodiments of the invention are described below dung explained with reference to the drawing. In this show:
Fig. 1 einen Vertikalschnitt durch einen fugenlosen, voll flächigen Belag, Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a jointless, full-surface covering,
Fig. 2 einen Vertikalschnitt durch einen aus Platten oder Fliesen zusammengesetzten Belag, und Fig. 2 is a vertical section through a composite made of slabs or tiles covering, and
Fig. 3 shows a vertical section through a covering elements formed from several loading.
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through a lining 10. The lining 10 is applied to a pad 11, preferably temporarily connected to the base. The base 11 can be, for example, a floor or a wall. The base 11 has a base surface 12 that is as flat as possible, to which the covering 10 is applied.
The covering 10 here has a base layer 13 and a cover layer 14 . The base layer 13 and cover layer 14 have approximately the same thickness in the exemplary embodiment shown. The side of the base layer 13 opposite the base surface 12 forms a contact surface 15 with the cover layer 14. The side of the cover layer 14 opposite the contact surface 15 forms the visible surface 16. The base surface 12 , contact surface 15 and visible surface 16 thus have parallel, flat surfaces. When illuminating the visible surface 16 , the viewer is given a special visual impression.
The base layer 13 consists of a transparent carrier material 17 , for example epoxy resin, polyurethane. Pearlescent pigments, preferably 3% - 5%, are introduced into this carrier material 17 . Here, white and / or colored synthetic pearlescent pigments based on lead carbonate or mica with titanium dioxide can be used. The color effects are caused by interference. Depending on how the pearlescent pigments are viewed (top view or see-through), you can perceive the basic or their complementary colors.
A base layer 13 formed in this way has a shimmering, reflecting and glossy surface, namely contact surface 15 . The cover layer 14 is applied to the contact surface 15 . The cover layer 14 consists of a mixture of particles 19 with synthetic resin 20 as the base material. This preferably flowable or pasty mixture can be applied to the contact surface 15 to form a cover layer 14 with a constant thickness. The particles 19 can be, for example, colorless glass particles. Accordingly, colorless lead crystal can also be used. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the particles 19 can be transparent but colored. To increase the optical effect of the covering, gemstones or fragments of gemstones can also be used as particles 19 , which are transparent or opaque, but in any case are preferably colored. Of course, particles 19 of lead crystal and gemstones of the same or different colors can also be used at the same time. The particles 19 can be treated with silanes before being mixed with the synthetic resin 20 .
The base layer 13 and the cover layer 14 can be poured onto the base surface 12 or contact surface 15 when using flowable materials. In this case, a flat visible surface 16 automatically results . In the case of a pasty mixture for the base layer 13 and / or cover layer 14 , this can be applied to the base surface 12 or contact surface 15 . A flat visible surface 16 can be achieved by removing the upper surface with a suitable tool. In the case of pasty mixtures, the creation of coverings 10 for arched documents 11 is also possible.
The top layer 14 is layer prior to the final ligation of the base 13, for example within 24 hours after the preparation of the base layer 13, is applied. After the cover layer 14 has hardened , it can be ground to improve the optical effect of the covering 10 . A special feature of the grinding process used is that an electrolyte-bonded diamond grinding wheel is used. A grit in the range from 60 to 800 is preferably used here for a sanding of the visible surface 16 , with work being carried out with several operations using an increasing grit size. After one or more of these grinding processes, the visible surface 16 has a flat surface. However, this can still have recesses 21 . These can be caused, for example, by air bubbles in the synthetic resin. Another cause for recesses 21 can be that particles 19 in the cover layer 14 are torn from the cover layer 14 during the grinding process. These holes are filled with synthetic resin 20 after the grinding process. This is followed by a further grinding process, preferably with a fine grit, for example 800 grit. A further improvement in the visual effect of the visible surface can be achieved by additionally polishing the surface. A diamond grinding paste is used for this.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the covering 10 can be conductive. For this purpose, for example, a special, namely conductive, pearlescent pigment is alternatively or additionally introduced into the cover layer.
The covering 10 according to the invention is seamless in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, thus creating a visually appealing closed surface. Through the described application method, a covering 10 can be applied to any base surfaces 12 that also deviate from regular shape. The interaction of the transparent synthetic resin 20 , the different particles 19 , the pearlescent pigments 18 and the carrier material 17 forms an interesting, iridescent covering 10 .
Of course, the cover layer 14 described can also be used in conjunction with conventional plates 22 or tiles. For this purpose, the preferably flat base 11 is provided with a thin layer of an adhesive material 23 , by means of which plates 22 are firmly connected to the base 11 after the adhesive material 23 has set . In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 2 of the covering 30 , the plates 22 are laid. The plates 22 are, for example, commercially available tiles or floor plates. The plates 22 form a flat surface 24 with joints 25 between adjacent plates 22. On the plates 22 , the mixture of particles 19 and synthetic resin 20 is poured or applied such that the mixture enters the joints 25 and a cover layer 14 with ge closed , flat visible surface 16 forms. Base surface 12 , surface 24 and the visible surface 16 form parallel surfaces. In the case of transparent synthetic resin 20 , the optical effect is based, on the one hand, on the coloring of the plate 22 in the area of the surface 24. Here, plates 22 of the same or different colors can be used. On the other hand, this effect is superimposed on the optical effect of the particles 19 inside the cover layer 14. According to the method described above, the surface of the cover layer 14 , namely the visible surface 16 , can also be ground or polished.
Fig. 3 zeigt ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung. Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the invention. Here, the covering 29 is formed from a plurality of covering elements 26 . An adhesive material 23 , which connects the covering elements 26 to the base 11 , is first applied to the preferably flat base 11 . Here 25. In an alternative imple mentation form the lining elements 26 can be seamlessly so creaky, misplaced, produced 26 joints between Benach disclosed covering elements. Each covering element 26 has a base layer 13 and a cover layer 14 of constant thickness. The visible surface 16 is thus parallel to the base surface 12. In the illustrated embodiment of the covering elements 26 , the side surfaces 27 are oriented perpendicular to the base surface 12 , so that the side surfaces 27 of adjacent covering elements 26 form joints 25 with a rectangular cross section. In the area of the covering elements 26, the optical effect of the covering 10 corresponds to the effect of the covering 10 in FIG. 1. To create a closed, flat visible surface 16 , the joints 25 are filled with a suitable joint filling material 28 . When using a conventional, generally not transparent, joint filling material 28 , the joints 25 appear visually in relation to the covering elements 26 . In an alternative embodiment, the mixture of synthetic resin 20 and particles 19 used for the production of the cover layer 14 can be used as the joint filling material 28 . After hardening of the joint filling material 28 , the visible surface 16 can be ground and polished as described above. The advantage of the embodiment according to FIG. 3 is that the covering elements 26 can be manufactured in one form, for example. Alternatively, the covering elements 26 can be cut from larger created covering surfaces.
The covering according to the invention or the covering elements are suitable for the creation of optically demanding floors. Likewise, the coverings or covering elements for wall claddings are used.
