Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a textile material according to the preamble of claim 1 as well as on outerwear, in particular jackets, made from this material.
Down materials and outerwear items made from them are known, especially jackets. These materials make a light, extremely warm Natural product.
Climate membranes such as "Goretex" or "Sympatex" have also become known in recent times. These materials, also known as climate membranes, stand out through their water and wind impermeability with simultaneous breathability, d. H. with simultaneous possibility of moisture exchange (exchange of Water vapor) from the inside out.
The object of the invention is to show a material which is compared to both known materials has an improved property. To solve this problem is formed a material according to claim 1.
The textile material according to the invention is particularly notable for improved warming properties. This is due to the fact that moisture is out the second layer containing the down through the first acting as a climate membrane Layer is transported outwards, so that the down of the second layer is kept dry and thereby optimally develop their warming properties can. This synergy effect means that the material according to the invention as a whole achieved an improved warming effect. At the same time is the invention Material from the outside impermeable to wind and water.
The reverse synergy is that the climate membrane is not warming Possesses properties so that they warm up and support their function Material is instructed. Together with the down, the optimum results Combination in terms of moisture transport and warming Characteristics.
A climate membrane in the sense of the invention is in particular a material that is characterized in that it is breathable on the one hand, and at least in one on the other is significantly waterproof. Developments of the invention are the subject of Subclaims.
The invention is explained below with reference to the figure using an exemplary embodiment. The figure shows a simplified representation of a section through the material according to the invention. This consists of a climate membrane 1 forming the outside of the material, which is known, for example, under the name "Goretex" or "Sympatex" and which is in any case impermeable to wind and water from the outside, but is nevertheless breathable. The inside of the material is formed by a layer 2 , which contains down. The layer 2 in the embodiment shown consists of two individual layers or fabrics 3 and 4 , which absorbs the actual down between them. The individual layer 3 is a so-called "non-woven paper" or material from DUPONT, which supports the down in the transport of moisture to the climate membrane. The fabric 4 is a nylon material which prevents the down from slipping, but does not prevent the moisture transport.
The combination of layer 1 (climate membrane) and layer 2 (down) results in a material that has improved warming properties and is also impermeable to water. By using the layer 2 , which acts as a climate membrane, moisture (water vapor) is released from the layer 2 through the layer 1 to the outside of the material 1 . Ingress of water from the outside into the layer 3 is prevented, so that the layer 2 or the down used for this layer remains dry and can fully develop its warming effect. The material therefore has a warming and at the same time breathable function with simultaneous waterproofing from the outside.
Material 1 is particularly suitable for the production of jackets.
