Abstract

To restore worn wood steps, a new tread surface is prepared of solid hard or precious wood in a thickness of at least 15 mm, and glued at a new step head. The new step head is fitted with wood dowels to secure the new tread surface, with the upper edges of the dowels flush with the tread surface, and they are glued together. A restoration angle piece is screwed in place at the under side of the new step head for stability. A replacement riser, of hard or precious wood, is glued tightly under the new step head, to prevent stair noise when in use.

Claims (2)

1. Renoviersystem für abgenutzte Treppenstufen aus Holz TRSE, bei dem nach der Montage keine anderen Materialien als Holz sichtbar sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
  • - daß der neue Stufenkopf in jeder Stärke, Profilierung und Überstand möglich ist
  • - der neue Gehbelag mindestens 15 mm stark, aus massiven Hart- oder Edelholz verleimt ist
  • - der neue Stufenkopf zusätzlich mit Holzdübeln, mit der Ober­ kante des neuen Gehbelages bündig, gedübelt und verleimt wird (Abfangen von Druck-und Scherkräften)
  • - durch einen Reparaturwinkel der unterseits mit Stufenkopf und Gehbelag mittels Schrauben verbunden ist und somit eine sehr große Stabilität erreicht wird
  • - die neue, ebenfalls aus Hart- oder Edelholz verleimte Setz­ stufe mit einer Stärke von mindestens 12 mm, die stramm unter den neuen Stufenkopf gestellt und verklebt, ein lästiges Knarren und Quietschen verhindert.
