Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a pairing of the first and second Tufting needles for use in three-axis tufting technique, the first and second tufting needles indirectly or by means of their pistons in a row directly on a needle bar of a tufting machine and at least the stems of all of these tufs can be laid ting needles run parallel to each other.
There are modules for tufting tools, in particular Tufting needles, known (EP 0 446 215 B1), on a Na delbarre are fixed and move with it. The Benefits that come from summarizing a number of Needles in each module and the definition of one individual modules on the needle bar opposite the definition of the individual tufting tools on the needle bar, exist especially in shortened rust times and simpl safe, precise placement of the tools.
Tufting machines are already known, the two on Ab stood parallel to each other needle bars sen, in particular to increase the number of realized baren pattern shifted relative to each other to the longitudinal direction can be used. These are so-called 2- axis machines (so-called cross over cut and cross over Loop technique)! Each needle bar is tufted tools provided, as previously described, in Modules can be accommodated.
To further refine the pattern possibilities of a Tufting machines are now proposed 3-axis machines gene, also two spaced apart have parallel parallel bars, which in their Are longitudinally movable relative to each other and also but in this way towards and away from each other can be moved that the rows of needles of the two needles bars either run parallel at a distance or in a single row of needles with halved pitch together be grasped.
The object of the present invention is now to To create pairings of tufting needles that are in themselves known way can be set on a needle bar and at the same time allow the needle bars to open can be moved towards and away from each other to ent neither two separate or a common row of needles to bil the.
This task is done when pairing first and two th tufting needles of the type mentioned in the introduction loosens the shafts of all these tufting needles at Bewe the two needle bars towards each other in one common same row of needles are movable.
So these first and second tufting needles can each work in a row and in this position for Pattern formation with the needle bars relative to each other in Longitudinal direction of the needle bars are moved. When moving the shafts of this Na but also brought into a common row of needles and in this way the pattern possibilities of the Tuf ting process significantly. Working the needle rows of both needle bars reduced in a single row the division into half of the individual rows of needles first and second tufting needles.
Such a common row of needles is in connection with individually controlled needles (ICN technology) from DE-PS 38 11 330 known there for the reason to make room for the Win individual drives of the needles. A movement in multiple axes are not provided there.
The pairing of tufting needles according to the invention can, according to claim 2 be led that the first tufting needles straight are formed, while in the second tufting needles Shank by means of an offset to the piston of this tuf tingnadeln - and thus in the installed state towards the first tufting needles - is offset in parallel.
Known tufting needles can be used as the first tufting needles can be used without any change. Only that second tufting needles then have an offset that it allows both rows of needles to be in a common row to be able to move.
According to the invention it is further proposed according to claim 3 that he and the shaft with the second tufting needles an offset to the piston of these tufting needles - and there with when installed in the direction of the other Tufting needles - offset in parallel.
This training has the advantage that the first and the second needles are shaped in the same way and consequently in their load and their vibration behavior voices.
According to the invention it is further provided according to claim 4 that the first tuf tingnadeln are straight, while the second tufting needles the shaft to the piston at an angle from 70 ° to 110 °. In this version of the needles you come to the second tufting needles with a bend between the stem and piston. This can be seen at there are advantages to needle manufacturing.
According to the invention it is further provided according to claim 5 that in the first and with the second tufting needles the shaft to the piston forms an angle of 70 ° to 110 °.
The invention further provides according to claim 6 that in the first tuf Pin the shaft by means of an offset to the piston the tufting needles are offset in parallel, while the second tufting needles the shaft to the piston at an angle from 70 ° to 110 °.
The invention further provides according to claim 7 that the first tuftingna at least in the shaft area of the second tufting needles are mirror images of the same design. this makes possible the yarn feed from each other essentially opposite set directions.
The tufting needles according to the invention can be made of sheet steel be punched or made of plastic.
Finally, the invention provides according to claim 10 that the first and / or the second tufting needles each to several in Modules are summarized.
The first and the second tufting needles can each be used for inserted into the associated needle bar and fixed there be placed. But it will mostly be an advantage a plurality of needles first together in one module grasp and then placed this module on the corresponding one Connect the needle bar.
