The present invention is a method and an apparatus for determination and any recording of the respective composition of boiling liquid mixtures. The invention works assume that at a given pressure (e.g., under atmospheric pressure) any composition a boiling liquid mixture has a certain saturation temperature
Wirdίο and vice versa at the given temperature certain saturation pressure belongs to. Will
Es wird also möglich sein : I. an einem entsprechend eingebauten Manometer in jedem Augenblick die Zusammensetzung der siedenden Flüssigkeit abzulesen, 2. durch ein registrierendes Manometer Veränderungen in der Zusammensetzung des siedenden Flüssigkeitsgemisches aufzeichnen zu lassen und 3. die Überschreitungen gewisser Grenzen der Druckdifferenz bzw. der Zusammensetzung durch Alarmsignale anzuzeigen.■ a vessel inserted into the boiling liquid mixture in which there is a certain Amount of the same liquid mixture of known composition is then in the steady state, the temperature of the liquid mixtures inside and outside of the vessel must be the same and therefore the saturation pressure will only be equal, albeit the composition of the mixture inside and outside the vessel is equal to. For every other composition, however, there is a certain difference between the saturation pressures exist, which are a measure of the respective composition of the can serve boiling liquid outside the vessel. So it will be possible: I. on a suitably built-in manometer shows the composition at any given moment read off the boiling liquid, 2. changes by means of a recording manometer to record in the composition of the boiling liquid mixture and 3. the Exceeding certain limits of the pressure difference or the composition by Display alarm signals.
The boiling liquid mixture is located in the boiler G , to which the heat of evaporation can be fed, for example through the spiral s. The vessel g contains a certain amount of the same liquid mixture of known unchangeable composition. The pressure prevailing in g is transmitted through the line α to the pressure gauge q , which is connected to the boiler G on the b side, so that the height difference Ii shows the pressure difference between the two liquids at the respective boiling point t . Each value of h now corresponds to a certain composition of the boiling liquid mixture, and a scale can be calculated from the physical relationships of the liquid mixture in question, the composition of which can be read off directly on the manometer, at least in the event that the mixture consists of only two different liquids. If the evaporation takes place under atmospheric pressure, the compound b can be omitted. An alarm device can e.g. B. when using a mercury manometer by making electrical contacts in certain

If the apparatus is put into operation and the vessel G fills with liquid, the gas mixture in the system in the vessel g liquefies, the valve ν can be opened and the pressure
So kann ein und dieselbe Menge des Gasgemisches von bekannter Zusammensetzung während beliebig vieler Betriebsperioden des Apparates benutzt werden.S5 meter q then immediately shows the pressure difference corresponding to the composition of the liquid in vessel G. If the apparatus is taken out of operation, the valve v is closed. When the liquid in vessel G disappears and the apparatus warms up, the liquid in vessel g evaporates and the gas mixture is again distributed evenly in the whole of the above-mentioned system under a pressure which is indicated by the manometer in . Thus, one and the same amount of the gas mixture of known composition can be used during any number of operating periods of the apparatus.
