Dae erfindungsgemäfle Verfahren läßt sich besondere vorteilhaft dann durchführen, wenn in jeder Folie die aus der Komponente mit dem höchsten Schmelzpunkt bestehenden Schichten au-Bammen eine ßseamtdicke von mindestens 0,005 mm habenο Insbesondere ist das eriTindungegemäß© Verfahren sur Verwendung beim Versiegeln von Folien bestimmt« deren aufeinanderfolgende Schichten prakti&ah nicht mischbar sincL Gute Ergebnisse wer den beim Versiegeln von Folien d&nn ersielt, wenn ihre aufeinanderfolgenden Schichten im wesentlichen aus Polyäthylen und Polyamid bestehen, die Gesamtdicke 3©tler Folie veniger als 0,100 mm beträgt, und jede der Folien acht Schichten aufweist<, Es ist jedoch auch möglich, eine weit größere Aneahl von Schichten, s*Bo eweiunddreissig Schichten, bu verwendenη Bei einer bevorsugten Ausführungeform der Erfindung ist die Folie an der Versiegelungsstelle mit Gase bedeckt, oder die Ober« flächen der mit den Folien in Berührung kommenden Versiege» lungs-Klemmbacken sind profiliert«

1 see igt zwei Folien 1 und 2, deren wischen Klemmbacken 3 und 4 befindlich® Kanten miteinander verschmolzen werden solleno Zwischen der oberen Klemmbacke 3 und der Folie 1 let eine Gaze 5 vorgesehene Xn einer Ausführungsform bestand ,Jede Folie aus acht Schichten, die abwechselnd im wesentlichen aus Polyäthylen und Polyamid gebildet waren«
Die Polyäthylen» und Polyamidschichten sind in Figo 2 mit den Bezugsziffern 6 bzw» 7 bezeichnete Beiden Polyraarisatkcmponen ten waren einige Gewichtsprozent eines die Adhäsion zwischen den Schichten jeder Folie fördernden Mittels beigegeben«
Sin derartiges Mittel besteht z.B* aus einem saure Gruppen | e.nthaltenden Alkcnmischpolymerieat, wie ZnBo einem Mischpolymerisat aus Äthylen und Acrylsäureο Die Klemmbacken 3 und 4 werden dabei in Richtung der Pfeile 8 und 9 zusammengepreßt« wodurch auf die zu versiegelnden Folien 1 und 2 ein Druck von 625 kp/cm tatsächlicher Auflagefläche zwischen den Klemm« backen und den Folien aufgebracht wurde, während gleichzeitig das Folienmaterial in einem ersten Erwärmungsvorgang ttber die Klemmbacken auf eine Temperatur von 14O0C erwärmt wurde.
Diese Temperatur liegt über dem Erweichungspunkt der Polymer! satücomponeiite mit dem niedrigsten Schmelzpunkt (Polyäthylen)

Claims (1)

  1. Patentansprüche
    i| Verfahren aiam Versiegeln miiuSeetesis zweies1 Folien, die jede aus zwei oder mehreren sich atovretehselnden. Schichten verschiedener thermoplastischer Folyme^ieatkotaponenten mit verschiedenen Erweichungspunkten testeten, durch Anwendung von Wärme und Druckt dadurch gekenneelchn et, daS die Folien an der unter Vordruck stehenden Veraiegelungestelle eueret auf eine Temperatur eiraärat werden, die minder stens gleich dem Erweichungspunkt der Komponente mit dem niedrigsten Schmelzpunkt let ,aber unter dem Erweichungspunkt der Komponente mit dem höchsten Schmelzpunkt liegt*, und daß die iOXieiivereiegelungiietelle erst dann auf eine Temperatur ervrßrmt wird, die mindestens gleich Sem Erweichungspunkt der Komponente mit dem hueherten Schmelzpunkt ist, worauf sv/ci oder mehrere Schiebten der Komponente mit dem höchsten Schmelzpunkt miteinander verschmelzen«

    7c. Verfahren nach Ansprüchen 1 bis 6, dadurch ge=* kennzeichnet, daß bei jeder Folie für die aus der Komponente mit dem höchsten Schmelzpunkt bestehenden Schichten zusammen eine Gesamtdicke von mindestens 0,005 mm gewählt wird*
