Dieses gerät hat den Nachteil,daß der verwendete dünne Präser keine gekrümmten Trennungen des Verbandes Schneiden kann, außerdem werden die Zähne des Präsers durch die üblichen,sich im Gipsverband befindlichen Textilfasern,verstopft.Dadurch werden diese Zähne unwirksam. Was nun besonders bei deisen Geräten als störend empfunden wird, ist die Staubbildung, die sich in großen Mengen bildet. Perner ist für das Stanzwerzeug dienende Widerlager mit Staubabzugsöffnungen und Kanälen versehen und als Pührungsfuß ausgebildet, welcher zwischen den Gipsverband unddem Glied des Patienten eingeführt wird, und seinerseits mit einem staubsaugendem Leitrohr in fester Verbindung steht,welches bei Änderung der Schnittlinie als Drehpunkt dient.
