Universal trough and gutter horseshoe according to 0. Rösner.
Anwendung des Hufeisens n, 0„ Rösner unter Berücksichtigung nachstehender GrundgedankensApplication of the horseshoe n, 0 “Rösner taking into account following basic idea
1. Glattes Hufeisen für das ganze Jahr.1. Smooth horseshoe for the whole year.
2. Eine plane Pußung wird xveitestgehend unterstützt.2. A plane punching is supported as far as possible.
3. Der Huf wird dem-Erdboden näher gebracht. (Die Pferde laufen natürlicher).3. The hoof is brought closer to the ground. (The horses are running more natural).
5. Die Verwendung ist an allen Pferden möglich.4-0 Maintaining the health of the limbs is greatly promoted. 5. It can be used on all horses.
Die GleitschutzkantenThe relatively still small number of horses is far from having to accomplish more such heavy train performances on bad roads and paths as in previous years. Yfenn horses for Time on roads that are almost all paved and still have to be driven, so the loads are generally none severe more, and the time span is almost always short. This is how the horseshoes prove themselves ", O. Rösner himself on ' awarded these art roads «My related precise experiments have fully confirmed these facts. All other soil conditions allow the use of horseshoes η. Ο. Rösner without further ado, It designed the moving forward our horses lighter and, last but not least, more natural. Grip and cleat horseshoes have a healthy shoeing nothing in common, much less something natural. The horse shoeing operation is performed by applying Horseshoe n. 0..Rösner considerably relieved. It is this smooth horseshoes that are much easier to work on than grip and cleat horseshoes. The anti-skid edges

O. Eösner ,SThat the hoof when using horseshoes n.
.: .If the ground is brought closer to the ground, the fact.% That one must not cut the hornbeam and horn sole under previous circumstances during the preparation of the hooves for shoeing. These parts, the hornbeam and the hornbeam, have to help. This methodology, which runs parallel to the use of horseshoes no. 0 Bösner, lets the old horn fall out by itself over time, partially solidify it, depending on the constitution, and in many cases the old horn peels off completely from the hornbeam. Aside from that. it is achieved that hardly any snow can build up between the horseshoe handles in winter. These experiences from the rough practice of my years of experiments show that the space between the sole of the hoof and the earth only makes the difference in the thickness of the horseshoe. The whole uncircumcised hornbeam also acts as anti-slip protection, especially with the thinning of the horseshoes during use. - Exceptionally healthy conditions -! From an anatomical point of view, there are no indications that the horn ray and horn sole should be trimmed. This natural. Circumstances in turn facilitate the use of horseshoes n. O. Eösner on a natural, healthy basis. The so-called "breathing" is also completely eliminated when using these horseshoes. These surgical experiments fuel pathological changes throughout the hoof, including the limbs. The dap. Hoof horn producing parts of the hoof leather skin do not show these incisions either. . : .

Rösner eine wesentliche Erleichterung dar«The use of horseshoes n. 0. Rösner is common to all horses possible. My attempts at this point show me this again and again. - The few heavy logs - teams may be an exception -. With all other horses, like Competition-,. Racing horses, hunting horses, small horses and draft horses can be recommended for those who are still active Farriers make the use of horseshoes no. 0. Rösner makes it easier
A"bb. 5/4). I/5) des Hufeisens. This channel is drawn all around from one end of the leg : 'the horseshoe base surface (Fig. 1/1). The depth of the groove is 6/10 of the horseshoe thickness (Fig. 5/2) and the width is 1 mm wider than on the currently known horseshoes (Fig. 5/3). (Fig. 5 shows a cross section of a horseshoe shank). The walls of the channel run evenly at an angle (Fig. I / 4j Fig. 4/4? A "Fig. 5/4). The position holes run slightly inwards, are located further in the toe part (Fig. I / 5) and end at the furthest point (Fig. I / 5) of the horseshoe. The depth perforation is normal. From the inner edge of the channel to the inner edge of the horseshoe are the "cross troughs" (Fig. i / 6j Fig. 2/6; Fig. 4/6) . The "cross bars" have protective functions instead of grip and cleats. With smaller horseshoes there are 6 and with larger horseshoes it is -8 ) Horseshoes are still the strongest (thickest). In all my experiments it was shown that the inner horseshoe edge (Fig. 1/7? Fig. 2/7) was οψε 2 mm thicker (thicker) than that of worn-out horseshoes outer horseshoe edge (Fig. 3/8)

Diese"'and toe-winding (Fig. 2 / i0j Fig. 3 / iO). That comes from The earth grinds itself over the outer surface of the ground surface (Fig. 1/11 Fig,' 3 / Ί 1 ι Fig. 4/11 ; ■ Fig. 5 / i 1) when stepping on (loading) the hooves, they are pushed to the side, one can say, "This results in the rounded outer edge of the ground surface at these points. In contrast, the earth in the area of the sole can at the moment practically not avoiding the load on the hooves to the side. The earth here forms a concentric counterpressure and so there cannot be material wear as a result of sanding over the inner horseshoe edge. The material wear is much less and is more flat here. Hence the constant Sharp n corners (Fig. 1/12; Fig. 2 / i2.) and sharp edges (Fig. 1/13) on the "cross troughs" as anti-slip protection when the horseshoes run off
. . "· * Observations from the test practice gave me the clue to attach my anti-slip "cross troughs" here. The sharp edges and corners of the "cross troughs" still have anti-slip properties until the horseshoes are completely used up. . . "
Das bedeutet, daß bei einer Stärke von 10 mm, die liefe der "Quertröge" 4 mm und bei einer HufeisenstärkeThe first "cross troughs" sit, judged from the toe section, between the 2nd and 3rd nail hole; the remaining 4 and 6 respectively "Cross troughs" are distributed equally spaced from the end of the leg. The "cross troughs" have an equal width at the top (Fig. 2/14) of 15 mm? "the depth is so. regulated that still Remain 2 mm on the inner edge of the horseshoe (Fig. 4 / I5). (AToT?. 4 shows a cross-section of the deepest horseshoe shank Point of a "cross trough"), have e.g. so the depth of the "cross troughs" is 8 mm at this point, (Fig. 2/17) with a horseshoe thickness of 12 moLhaben the "Cross troughs" a depth of 10 mm on these parts (Fig-. 2 / ΐ7). Towards the channel, the depth of the "cross troughs" is dimensioned so that there are still 2 mm to the bottom of the channel (Fig. 1/18; - Fig. 4/18) stay. This means that with a thickness of 10 mm, that would run the "cross troughs" 4 mm and with a horseshoe thickness
