Die Platte 3 ist mit zwei Querschlitzen 4 und 5 versehen, von denen der eine, 4, zur Befestigung des Kupplungsgliedes 1 am zugehörigen Gurtende dient, während der andere, 5, zum Eingriff eines am Schloß 2 vorgesehenen Kupplungsvorsprunges 6 bestimmt ist, der die Gestalt einer mit etwas Spiel in den Schlitz 5 passenden Querleiste hat. Das Schloß 2 weist ein aus Stahlblech gefertigtesflaches Gehäuse von rechteckiger Umrißfigur und gleichfalls rechteckigem Querschnitt auf. Dieses Gehäuse besteht aus einem ebenen Boden 7, der vier mit ihm einstückige Wände 8 und 9 trägt, und einer ebenen Decke 10, die an dem vom Boden 7 und den Wänden 8,9 gebildeten Gehäuseunterteil starr befestigt ist. Die Befestigung kann beispielsweise, wie gezeigt, durch vier Schrauben 11 geschehen, die durch Locher der Seitenwände 8 hindurch in Gewindelöcher von nach dem Boden 7 hin abgewinkelten Randteilen 12 und 13 der Decke 10 einge- schraubt sind.
