Süddeutsche Armaturenfabrik ########## "Flach- und O-Ring-Dichtung" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Insbesondere zwischen Armaturengehäuse und Haube werden bisher entweder Flach-oder O-Ring-Dichtungen verwendet. Die Flach- dichtung hat den Nachteil, daß sie bei hohen Drücken herausge- drückt wird, während bei O-Ringen insbesondere bei Flach-und Ovalschiebern das Einlegen in eine vorgegossene ovale Nut sehr schwierig ist. Diese Nachteile beseitigt die erfindungsgemäße kombinierte Flach- und O-Ring-Dichtung. Hierbei erhält das Gehäuse (l) und die Haube (2) eine im Querschnitt etwa halbkreisförmige Nut, die insbesondere bei ovalen Flanschen auch eingegossen werden kann. Die Flachdichtung (3) ist beiderseits mit, diesen Nuten ent- sprechenden, Wulsten (4) versehen. Diese Wulsten, die zusammen mit dem dazwischen liegenden Flachdichtungsteil etwa einem O-Ring entsprechen, behalten durch die Verbindung mit der Flachdichtung ihre Form, z. B. flach-oval oder oval. Es können auch beliebige andere Kurvenformen eingehalten werden (Abb. 3). Abb. 1 zeigt die Dichtung für normale Flanschform mit außerhalb der Dichtung liegenden Schrauben (5).
