Im Bauwesen bedient man sich eines kitt-oder pastenförmigen
Werkstoffs, sogenannter Verdichtungsmasse, der beim Einsetzen der Fenster- udn Türfutter
in die entsprechenden Maueröffnungen ein abdichtendes und bindendes Zwischenmittel
bildet. Diese Masse kommt in Papprohren (Tuben, Patronen) auf den Markt, deren eine
Deckfläche mit einer Tülle zum Auslaß eines Stranges der Masse versehen ist, während
die an sich offene Bodenfläche nach dem Einfüllen der Masse mit einer eingelgten
Pappscheibe oder-Manschette verschlossen ist. Drückt man diesen Verschluß nach innen,
so tritt vorn die Masse aus der Tülle aus, - Zum Entleeren solcher Patronen auf
der Baustelle sind bereits Geräte bekannt, die eine Haltvorrichtung für die Patrone
und einen Stößel mit Vorschubeinrichtung enthalten ; sie sind ausländischer Herkunft
und schon dadurch kostspielid, außerdem sind sie kompliziert in der Herstellung
und umständlich im Gebrauch. Wegen ihres Aussehens werden sie als Pistolen bezeichnet. '
