The present invention relates to an elastic textile material with special properties which make it appear particularly suitable for use in orthopedics.
Orthopädische Behelfe und Prothesen werden an der Innenseite mit
einer Fütterung versehen um dadurch ein angenehmeres Tragen dieser Behelfe zu ermöglichen
und um eine Beschädigung der Baut des Patienten durch den zumeist aus hartem Material
(Holz, Leder, leichtmetall etc.) angefertigten Behelf auszuschliessen. Als Fütterungsmaterial
wird entweder über einer Unterlage aus Polsterfilz oder allein für sich in der Mehrzahl
der Fälle Leder verwendet. Dieses Fütterungsleder, meist Sämisch- und Fahlleder,
wird jedoch in Gebrauch durch die ständige direkte Berührung mit der Haut des Patienten
sehr schnell unansehnlich. Da eine Reinigung, bedingt durch die Materialstruktur,
nicht möglich ist. nimmt dieses Futterleiter schon nach kurzer Benutzungsdauer einen
unangenehmen Geruch an und ist äusserst unhygienisch. Orthopedic aids and prostheses are included on the inside

Es ist gleichfalls bekannt, als Fütterungsmaterial Textilstoff
zu
verwenden, es wird hierfür Velvet und Moledkin verwendet. Bei
diesem
Material ist die Beständigkeit gegen Schweine etwas besser
als bei
Futterleder. Die Dehnbarkeit ist jedoch bedeutend geringer,
so dass
die Verarbeitung für den angegebenen Zweck auf grosse technische
Schwierigkeiten ßtosst. Ausserdem ist die Einreise-, Dehnungs-und
Abriebfestigkeit bedeutend geringer als bei Futterleder. Dieser
Tex-
tilatoff wurde daher nur gezwungener Massen in den Zeiträumen
vier-
wendet, in denen die Beschaffung von geeignetem Futterleder
ummoglich
war.
Der als Futtermaterial für Prothesen bestimmte elastische Textilstoff
vorliegender Erfindung besitzt einen bedeutend höheren Gebrauchswert als alle bisher

kann, wird nach einem besonderen Verfahren ausgerüstet und erhält dadurch eine stark
polsternde und nach allen Richtungen dehnbare Struktur. Das Material besitzt eine
ausserordetlich hohe Abrieb-, Einreiss- und Dehnungsfestigkeit, die durchweg höher
liegt als die vergleichbaren Werte bei hochwertigem Samisoh bezw. Fahlleder. Das
Material ist schmutzabweisend, vollkommen luftdurchlässig und schweissaufsaugend.
Es trocknet nach Schweissaufnahme sehr schnell und besitzt durch seine niedrige
Leitfähigkeit die Eigenschaft einer leichten und hohen elektrostatischen Aufladung,
wodurch es eine gute Stupfdurchblutung fordert und antirneumatisch
wirkt. Besondere hervorgehoben muss werden, dass das Material
voll-
kommenneutraliat und ke1nerleilösliohe auf die Haut ohäd1,
